AC runs non-stop

I’m writing this review in hopes of warning others who might be attracted to the lower rent than other Apts in the area. For starters, between my checking the available Apts and applying (2 days), the rent went up $80/month. Current units are now priced much higher than the price I was able to sign for. So time your application wisely. In addition to that, I viewed my apt before I moved in and let the office know the ac couldn’t keep up along cooking with other basic repairs. My approval was delayed due to their error and I was also told the apt wasn’t ready as the repairs needed to be made. Days later, I had to stand in the office while they called to ask why my approval wasn’t ok’d yet while being told it was on the approval company’s end. Wasn’t the case. I was still in a rush to find a place to live as this took over a week. So I move in. None of the repairs I noted during my walk through are done. Ac unit still not working properly. I call repeatedly for ac service. It’s over 81 in my apt which is against Texas state law. They bring a secondary ac unit to help. Neither of those can maintain a constant cool temp in my apt. So now I am paying for both to be running just to keep temps level. I keep getting told to lower the ac to 70 so it cools the apt. That’s not how ac units work. They either cool or don’t. Even with a new external unit, it can’t keep up. So now I’m paying for two concurrent ac units to cool my apt. And my made ready apt? This is the list of what wasn’t working/still not fixed- Secondary bath not draining Dishwasher leaking/not draining due to clog Ice maker water valve not turned on Garbage disposal seized/food left in the drain Slider with gap
