This is a very weak recommendation. I have been living at Mission Tanglewood for about 5 years now. In that time my car has been broken into twice, my rent has gone up and down, our wooden fence around the garbage can burned down,I have lost a package somewhere between the postal worker and the apartment office neither of which claimed responsibility, the office staff has changed several times and the property owners have changed. I would say that this property is an average property at best. The apartments are small and have appliances that are about 20 years old. The apartments are not very well updated so in the summer/winter you get extreme heat/cold and this will make your energy bills go up. They have a terrible deal with whatever water service they use so instead of not paying for water or paying $20 you pay around $50 for water services. And that's if you live alone in a 1 bed room apartment. They make you pay for this new OPTIONAL service called valet waste which you pay $25 a month for someone else to take your trash to the trash can for you. Its 100% optional but they force it on everyone. Also you pay $8 for pest control that only comes when you request it not on a monthly basis. So basically I pay $800 for a pretty average apartment. I will say that I do not have an issue with parking. All the spaces are big enough to hold a large truck and still have room for cars on either side. There is a work out room which is good. The current office staff is nice and helpful. Overall its an average property that is overpriced and loves to nickel and dime you.
