The Leasing Staff is very rude&#44; not the smartest of people and very unorganized.&lt;br&gt;The maintenance men remind me of three stooges.  They like to throw stuff off the balcony when cleaning out vacated apartments.  Various objects including old furniture&#44; old appliances&#44; and pretty much anything else they can find to throw off.  The only reason I mention this is because they seem to get a very big kick out of it&#44; and I saw these guys dropping an old stove off a three story balcony crushing a shrub bellow...  The sick thing is I heard a cat scream and then saw it run out of the bush bellow&#44; and the cat did not look like it was ok. &lt;br&gt;Also there is a large amount of people here who own dogs&#44; and for some reason these dogs like to crap!  The thing is the owners do not pick the crap up so its extremely impossible to walk through any grassy area without having to dance & dodge trying to move around dog crap do yourself a BIG favor and ...&lt;br&gt;DONT MOVE HERE &lt;br&gt;moving out A.S.A.P!

THIS PLACE IS A DUMP! Not even a first class dump. If you want to pay fees on top of fees&#44; then by all means&#44; move in here. 

6 months ago maintenance came in to fix a clogged line in my AC unit which happens to be over the master bathtub. They never bothered to even wipe their nasty hand prints off of the cover when it was replaced (see pictures). I was advised then they were going to replace the cover. Never happened. 

They have been advised on multiple times that I have found mouse droppings in my kitchen cupboards (see pictures) and the only thing I&#39;m told is pest control will be around in September for this building! 

And by all means&#44; don&#39;t loose your job and need assistance while you are a resident here because the office will REFUSE to send information to STATE organizations that will assist with your rent and then file an eviction against you because the office staff didn&#39;t do their job. 

I do not recommend living here. Communication with management is only when they want your money not when you need your apartment maintenanced. Fees fees fees and more fees!! These people are fake and so are the apartments. Appliances are 80&#39;s style and insides in just repainted you can still see the damages under the coat of paint. Roaches everywhere!! Even when pest controlcomes&#44; only because I have to call&#44; theres still roaches out in my kitchen. It is embarassing when company is over. Do not move here!! You might as well buy a house after paying rent on top of all the ridiculous fees. The account manager has no remorse for anyone and is friendly at first just to try and get you to move in&#44; once papers are signed its another story. 

I visited an old neighbor today and guess what... well first let me give you some history on this place. I used to live there&#44; and I had a brand new vehicle that had an inspection sticker expired by one month. They promptly had my vehicle towed. Now the interesting thing I found out was that during this time they towed about 20 other people during this same period. Every night when I would get home I found it interesting that I had a hard time parking b/c guess what? A tow truck was in the way b/c he was in the process of towing another vehicle! The towing company for this area is called Assured Towing&#44; and let me assure you that they live up to their name. Now I used to manage several different apartment complexes in my early 20&#39;s... the entire point of towing someone off of a property for an expired tag was for when that vehicle had become broken down or an eyesore.. and sometimes when parking was over all full. During this time it was very common for these tow truck opportunist to offer me incentives or kick-backs for letting them tow and abuse the expired tag policy. That is exactly what goes on around here. The current apartment manager is Caryn Castillo.. now the interesting thing is that these are all new vehicles and are definitely not broken down. The parking capacity is typically around 50&#37;&#44; so I can conclude that these vehicles should not be towed. WHY? Well the management company makes money when you pay rent&#44; if you cannot go to work or suffer further financial hardships then they may lose out on that money. But on the local management level this can be a great alternative income&#44; it&#39;s lucrative&#44; illegal&#44; and down right nasty. Not only that&#44; but just think... if you had rented anywhere else you probably would not be experiencing this abuse of power. It is up to you to keep your vehicle inspected&#44; just know that if you live here.. and you forget to have your inspection renewed.. you WILL wake up and find that you can no longer go to work in the morning because Assured towing WILL wait until 3am to tow your vehicle. Also I have confirmed with many residents that their vehicle was towed before the Tagged warning date; the same tag that had been placed on their vehicle. When they complained about this the TAG mysteriously had disappeared by the time it hit the Assured Towing&#39;s lot. So if you get tagged and it says you have 3 days to move your car.. don&#39;t bet on it. If you don&#39;t have documented proof then they are still going to get you. Meanwhile Caryn Castillo is shopping at the local mall spending your hard earned cash. Did I mention that a friend of mine recently got a job working for Assured Towing? I bet you were curious how I found out about this... Well experience in the industry&#44; and some friendly advice from one of Assured Towing&#39;s finest. I am not angry&#44; but I do feel compelled to warn you all. To any of their staff reading this&#44; you guys did a tremendous job.. Maintenance kicks ass&#44; the pool is always clean&#44; and you always resolved our issues promptly when I stayed there. I am in no way complaining about you. Just your boss ;D One more thing&#44; I included some pictures&#44; overall there were 25 I took from this week alone... but the upload limit is 6 photos. Anyway I just wanted to provide you with some credible evidence. Take it easy guys and BEWARE THE TOW TRUCK TYCOONS!!! Don&#39;t even let your friends visit you! You&#39;re putting them in DANGERRR!!

I have live here for 3 years there is mold in my apartment every time it rains .  It take about a month to get it fix., until it rain again.  The picture in the ads are nothing like the apartment. I have kitchen and bathroom tile that is coming up they have been out maybe 3-4 times have never done anything about it the tile in the kitchen was done when they replace the refridge ( the other was rusted inside and out.  The also replace the dishwasher which was also rusted .  There is a 2in gap between wall and dishwasher.

I love the community, nice, quiet and close to work, shopping, restaurants and the highways. The office staff is always so friendly and eager to help when there's an issue with my unit. I just renewed my lease and I couldn't be happier!

I have been living in this complex since 2020. My unit is a perfect size for me with a great view of the pool and trees. My unit is a little dated compared to what other complexes offer, but it's not something that bothers me as long as I have working appliances, hot water and a place to sleep.  
The pool is always kept clean and the tables/grills are in working condition. Sometime the residents using the pool will get loud, but never at inappropriate times and never enough to actually bug me.
The gym is usually empty or just has one person using it at a time. The machines are all in good working order and the treadmills were recently replaced. If you're looking for a decked out gym this probably won't be enough, but for the days you can't make it to your normal gym there is enough equipment to get the job done. 
There is a dog park with lots of space for pups to run around and is frequently used. The dog bags stations are placed in convenient spots, but the bags are not always replaced when they are out in higher traffic areas. There is always enough parking either in the lots or on the street. The residents who live around me are always friendly and have lived in their units for as long if not longer than I have. 
I can't speak to current rental rates, but I feel like I pay a very fair rate. I renewed with early bird rates and my rate did not increase, which is something I have not experienced anywhere else in Austin. What a joy to receive that renewal notice last year! 
Maintenance is amazing. They respond the day of, if not almost instantly, to all my requests. I had consistent issues with my A/C unit the summer of 2021 and they replaced the unit as quickly as possible. I was without A/C for about 5 days, but part of that was the weekend and I was provided a portable unit to keep the temp down as much as possible. Looking forward to an easy breezy summer '22. 
I do frequently have wasps building nests on my balcony, but I think that might be due to how close I am to the pool and lots of trees. I have requested pest control in the past, but they only come one day a week so I tend to use my own wasp spray and knock down the nests myself before they grow too large.
Location is 5 minutes away from the Slaughter/West Gate HEB, which I love. There is a park with a walking trail very close by as well.
Overall, I have enjoyed my time living at Landmark! I have no plans to relocate unless the rates increase beyond my means or other circumstances arise.

We love our apartment ?? Maintenance have been SUPER responsive when/if needed, we haven't had any issues with appliances, etc. working since we've been here and the location is pretty nifty; right in the middle of pretty much anything and everything ??

Iâ€™ll say this and itâ€™s what God loves. Not one problem here, almost four years here and not one problem in my area. A few improvements to our parking lot and listen. This is very good place and have responded with all resources during two ice storms. I mean look at the photos, this is a well maintained property.

Amazing. Almost 4 years here and I love Highmark. 

First off I'd like to genuinely thank our community management staff. I've experienced many great experiences here within the community. Respect, kindness, prompt responses, and just a great community.

Back when I first moved in to this apartment complex it felt like a close nit community.  I knew the office staff by first name basis.  Over the past couple of years (after COVID), things have changed.  There has been less of a personal connection with the office staff and therefore I feel the there has also been a big disconnect in this community.
However, I do appreciate the efforts they have tried to make hosting a few events and/or activities to engage the residents... 
Said events are not usually accommodating residents that work the same hours as the office.
