We have lived in Colonial Grand at Wells Branch for 17 months now and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. There aren't enough positive things you can say about this apartment community... The Office Manager Rachel, her Assistant Manager Melissa, and the Leasing Consultants Alisha and Sarah are all so down-to-Earth, professional, bubbly and personable.. They always have such a warm, friendly vibe no matter when we see them or call them. We have never, ever had any reason to complain. I will jokingly tell the girls that as long as Rachel is here running the show we won't ever leave. The staff is really dedicated and there isn't a high turn over rate at all.. The same ladies have been here for the entire time we have lived here.
The maintenance team is TOP NOTCH. The Lead Maintenance guy Stephen is insanely nice. He is super friendly and says Hello to us and our children anytime we see him. When I tell you they show up THE SAME DAY within the hour, I mean within the hour. Our washing machine flooded once (a hose somehow disconnected) and he walked into our apartment within 15 minutes. Our sink disposal backed up on a Friday evening at 4:45 and he came RIGHT over and fixed it on the spot. Stephen always jokes with us and touches base on how things are going in our apartment.
The neighbors here are friendly and quiet, everyone says Hi to each other. The parking has never been an issue. The trash is picked up by a valet service but there are plenty of dumpsters which are always picked up in a timely manner. The valet service now offers recycling, and they switched one trash dumpster out for a recycling dumpster which is nice. The property here is ALWAYS extremely clean. I see the guys out nearly every morning making sure there is no litter floating around outside and that the parking lot looks tidy. There is a courtesy officer that lives on property that I have met once and he is very nice as well. The pest guy is on property every Tuesday like clockwork and the two times I have asked him to come in to spray were only because we had some teeny, tiny ants hanging around our drains. It was the same guy both times and although I can't recall his name he was really friendly. During the months when the grass grows like crazy the lawn service is here about every other week mowing and trimming everything so the property is always looking fantastic. The pool is a little small but you have to keep in mind that this is a small complex so even during the hottest months it isn't ever 'packed'. There is plenty of seating including lawn chairs, tables and love seats both in the shade and in the sun. The office and club house are always spotless and always smell amazing. We have had a few family events held in the club house and used their kitchen for random things and everyone always complements our community. The gym is always being used because it has really great machines and is very clean.
Our apartment's interior is VERY NICE. We have carpet in our living areas and bedrooms and tile in the wet areas, real granite counter tops throughout the entire apartment. We have lived in three floor plans in this community and all three have had coat closets, kitchen islands and pantries, built in granite desks and giant walk-in closets. The fixtures are all modern, cabinets are nicely built, all black appliances, the washer and dryer are included in your apartment for you and so is the cable! The apartments do not have an exterior storage closet but I will say that we are a family of five and we have more closets now than things to put into them.
The apartment community sits at the corner of I-35 and Wells Branch so we are in the middle of anything and everything you could possibly need. HEB is on the opposite corner of I-35, La Frontera is one exit North, the Parmer/Tech Ridge shopping area is one exit South... The guys that work in the convenience store in front of our apartment community are SO friendly and recognize us every time we go inside. Although the address here is an Austin address we are zoned for Pflugerville ISD and the children attend Northwest Elementary. The bus driver is usually on time and friendly so we really haven't had any complaints at all.
I don't know what else I could possibly say other than you would not be wasting your time to come out and tour with one of the INCREDIBLE girls in the office. I know I toured four times before I made the decision to move our family in (I ask a ton of questions and like to see several floor plans..) and we have never enjoyed living anywhere as much as we do here. We feel extremely safe and "at home" here and I know that you would too.
