Comfortable & Convenient

I am currently a resident at San Marin and can say my partner and I are comfortable with the complex. We were referred by a couple of friends already residing at San Marin. First, THE BAD: There have been reports of car break-ins since we've moved in. Actually, our friends who referred us got both of their trucks broken into. We have two vehicles but have been fortunate not to have gone through that. A car break-in can happen anywhere at anytime. There's only so much management can do although, I would like a complex completely fenced, San Marin is not. I would imagine that would help decrease theft. San Marin is also the first complex I've lived at where the rent is due on the 2nd of the month. That third day could've helped us a couple of times but we still had to pay late fees. Last, the maintenance could be a bit better on the grounds. My biggest issue, the leaf blowers. I like my apartment neat & clean, as well as our patios. I'll sweep them and one day come to find leaves scattered all over. What happened to the old fashion rake? THE GOOD: San Marin has 12-13 different floor plans between Phase I & II; very good selection. We have the large, one bedroom/one bath and couldn't be happier with the floor plan and space! We have a king size bed in the bedroom and have plenty of space for a nightstand, computer desk armoire and tv stand! We also have two patios, one in the dining and one in the living which makes for great air flow, love it! We have three closets, one a walk-in. I've never had a problem with covered parking. I like that they don't charge anything extra for that. Our apartment is right by the pool and I've never had a problem with noise. Like one review mentioned, any noise are kids swimming during the day. San Marin is VERY quiet. I never hear any noise from any of our neighbors; there are no cars thumping with loud music. Greystar is no longer the managing company but I've never had any problems with the front office staff anyway. Our maintenance requests have all been complete with in a week. I would say the income level reflects all the tenants. We've never had problems with parties being too loud or people working on their cars outside. It's also at a great location close to Mopac and 183. Overall, San Marin is an ideal place to live.
