Poor maintenance service, poor parking (3 car break ins), and apathetic staff

I lived in San Marin for about a year, and during that time, my car, my girlfriend's car, and my brother's car were all broken into. Aside from the safety/criminal issues regarding parking, there's not enough parking near the apartment buildings, so I'd always have to park pretty far from my place. The staff does not care about you. I've had packages sit in the office for weeks, when I had a delivery note, and went in 3 times for the staff to take a casual glance and come out to tell me they had no packages for me. They told me I could not get new batteries installed in my smoke detectors unless I provided them, even though that is a safety issue, and I paid nearly $1000.00 a month for the apartment and garage, which I paid $75 extra for per month, because parking near Duval is apparently not safe. I was grossly overcharged for cleaning and carpet when I moved out. Most of my neighbors were jerks. The people in an apartment on the first floor, across the hall from me had a gigantic dog (large enough to stand with it's paws on your shoulders), that liked to bark at all hours and at anyone who would pass by. The people across the hall from them yelled insults at my brother while he was working on his car, but were too cowardly to admit it when he confronted them. It goes on, and on. The day I moved out, I had a 27' truck, with a car carrier behind it. Granted, parking is not great there, but I had no real choice but to take up a strip of spots to leave clearance for people to drive through the complex. The next morning, I came out to find a note taped to my mirror, filled with insults and profanity, "welcoming" me to the community. Thanks a lot, guy, really neighborly of you. I had a toilet backup, and submitted a maintenance ticket, only to wait 3 days with no response. When I called the office, they gave me some line about the maintenance guy having the ticket, and that was why they couldn't find it. About 3 hours later, I called back and talked to the same guy, and he finally admitted they had no idea, and that there was no maintenance guy on the way. He then got someone to come out, about 2 more hours later. So after all that, I had a toilet full of human waste for about 4 days (not that I hadn't tried plunging, etc, before calling the first time). I asked for an extra gate remote, but was told I couldn't have one unless I paid an extra $50. Really? $50 for a glorified garage opener?
