So I've kept in contact with the facility over the past 2 weeks regarding this problem and they are sort of shoving me off, avoiding and avoiding the situation.
I reserved an apartment Back in the beginning of May at the location, putting the holding deposit on the unit the next day. it was a 3 bedroom apartment that the tenants had provided their 30 day notice that they were moving on the 1st of June. It was ground floor which was a PRIORITY to me and I made it known.
Anyways, so i wait until 2 weeks before June (My expected move in date was June 21st) and file the application fees and get approved around the 25th of May.
I go into the facility June 7th to pay the rest of the security deposit and check out the unit, and they told me that the previous tenants had renewed their lease and that unit was no longer available, nor were any other ground units going to become available.
They never contacted me, all they had done was changed my apartment to a second floor unit, and then said "oh I was going to call you yesterday but never got around to it".
Beautiful facility, extremely unprofessional manners at handling personal mistakes.
