Not pleasant. Can not wait to move out. Front desk is zero help. Maintenance has given my keys to contractors that were not supposed to have access to my apartment. stuff is fixed half ---. Looking forward to being back at SoCo Berkshire My neighbors dog barks NON stop despite complaints to her, which disrupts everyone's right to "quiet enjoyment"/

    ABSOLUTELY DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!! Unless the ENTIRE maintenance team has been replaced. The maintenance manager is -------. When I first moved in my apartment was NOT move in ready. I had to wait a week, while paying rent, for them to complete the necessary tasks. After a week went by my apartment STILL had things that needed to be touched up/ cleaned. After multiple maintenance request SOME got completed. But ALL request were closed out. I came home two weeks later to my toilet seat up and pee on it ( I am a woman and live alone). I immediately asked the front desk if someone was in my apartment and ----------- response was " yeah, some 3rd party to fix something, ------- takes care of that" I did not authorize ANYONE to enter my apartment. Not to mention he did not fix the crack in my tile because I had a cat and there was a vase sitting on the tile (weighs 1lb). BUT HE COULD USE MY BATHROOM. --- was nice and got my locks changed that day because not even he was sure who had came into my apartment. Last week my water heater broke. While they were replacing it they broke a gas hose. Long story shorter fire dept. came out and my building was evacuated. All was clear around 1030 pm but I had no hot water and no where to take my cat for the night. I asked ------- if I should get a hotel he said yes we will reimburse you to your rent. EVEN asked if I would like him to pay with his card. In a hurry because I was supposed to be in Wimberley setting up a surprise engagement, I said no as long as I get paid back. He said it would ALL go to my rent just to keep my receipt. (--------) I asked if I needed to stay in a price range- he just said no hilton downtown. I stayed at candlewood suits with my cat Friday night. Paid a fee to move the engagement to saturday night. ALL day saturday I was in communication with ------- to see if my apartment was ready. He did not inform me until 8pm when I text messaged him asking again. Well of course it was too late to check out of candlewood suites. I drove from wimberley saturday night to see if I left that night they would reimburse me or prorate it and they said they could not. I spoke to --- today and he said ------- is not authorized to say/ promise ANY of the stuff he did. My total bill for a POS hotel was over 200 dollars. --- said in any condition they can ONLY reimburse $75 dollars TOTAL. I am now stuck with a debt due to maintenance that apparently don't know the rules and protocols of their own property. Do yourself a favor and live at one of the other apartments right next door on duval that are fully renovated and don't have 30 year old water heaters and incompetent maintenance men. worst. customer. service. ever. Move out time in December could not come soon enough.
