POOR MANAGEMENT

We moved in a year ago and at the time looks were deceiving. The property seemed to be very pretty on the outside and the apartment was nice. We didn't like that our closets were small was our only complaint but living in a 2/2 we were happy. Plus we had to move quick. Through out our time there we would call in work orders to never get a response. When it rained it would leak into our apartment through the window,our dishwasher broke several times, we had a leak from the apartment upstairs into our master bath causing mold build up and our carpet was old when we moved in and unfortunatly the stains did not appear until a couple days after moving in. We were going to upgrade to a larger apartment when our lease was up due to the high price of having to move. Upon further evaluation we decided we would rather pay the price to move then to stay here. There are always new faces in the office, seems they can't keep anyone for long on top of they never ever answer there phones to go along with bad maintenance. So when we moved not only did they charge us for the old worn carpet they charged us for our early move out which we discussed to them and at the time they were ok with and they charged us a full clean after they said the mold in the tub and the carpet we would not be charged for. These people are scam artist. They don't care about residents at all only the money. They don't try to work with anyone and they lie. You get one person in the office telling you one thing and you think everything will be ok then later someone else tells you it's wrong. I would never ever lease from a greystar property ever. Also the apartment is cheaply built. Everything started falling apart. When they show you a unit overlook it thoroughly I can almost bet you will find all kinds of things that need attention. And don't count on getting your deposit back they will rape you of that too. As for parking.. there is none unless you have a garage. Noise.. people are always having parties making it very loud. The grounds are well manicured if only their apartment homes were.Safety and lighting, we had our vehicle broken into and while we lived there in a years time at least over 20 break ins, not to mention having a resident pull a gun out on my husband.Construction is cheap. You can hear your neighbors walking and talking and everytime they use water you hear EVERYTHING. They lie to you and tell you it is built from condo specs.. it isn't. Work orders good luck it would just be a simple miracle if they answered the phone. Office staff is new everytime we go into the office. Plus they lie to you just to shut you up. Over all a pine box would be better then to have anything from Greystar. I would not even recommend a homeless person here I suppose that is why the only thing they manage to keep is mice and rats.
