Communication with your residents is very important, and though there has been turnover in management, communication has been a very, very poor, resulting in a terrible move-in experience. There have been several occasions where we have made appointments with management the maintenance crews, preparing ahead of time, and neither have followed through with the designated time discussed. There have multiple instances where we we received different communication from each member of the management team on what to do, when documents/items will be completed, and when our lease would even begin. Besides communication being a low point in comparison to any other apartment complex we have moved into this far, our apartment was poorly cleaned when we moved in, and we had to spend several hours cleaning ourselves before finally having maintenance come in to repair items and clean what was left (they spent an 1.5hrs after we had already done the rest of cleaning, for reference). While everyone we have spoken to has been kind and apologetic, The Boulevard at Town Lake needs to work on process and training for all of its employees to be on the same page, so tenants like us won't be mislead, and unhappy. We moved across the country (already a stressful experience) and the stress was amplified having to deal with unclear direction and misleading communication on behalf of the apartment complex.
