Don't ever come here while under this management!

We've lived here for about 10 months now and during the stay we've HATED it! The old manager was fine, there were problems in the complex but he usually took care of it. One of the maintenance men was a friend of mine who cared for the animals who were left behind and would always give me advice on anything that needed to be done in the apartment. During my stay here I have personally witnessed (Inside the complex) 2 shootings, a car getting stolen (Right outside my window!), a whole line of car tires getting slashed, and two windshields smashed. These happened all during different times. There is atleast 3 buildings where around 12 -------- live in one apartment causing a bunch of noise and leaving beer cans everywhere. You CAN NOT walk around after hours safetly. Then this new management comes. And the manager seems to think he is more of a man, and a woman, than anyone else and if things don't go his way he is VERY rude. The mexican woman assisstant is also very rude and has lied to me on several occasions. First she said we were late on rent, though we had proof it was turned it the same day. Then she double charged us for water, lying that it was early for the next month (Which is ILLEGAL!) then we got charged for the next month and I (A pregnant 19 yo) had to argue with the manager until he finally said, "Oh, that was for the apartment next to you." Since he came there we were also being charged trash TWICE! Which is also illegal! Once on rent and another on the water bill. The apartment is infested with roaches and no one ever came to fix our dryer (Which doesn't dry), the leaky kitchen sink, or the hot water heater that turns off at 5 minutes of usage because they fired the good maintenance man! Because of all this we tried to get out of our lease 2 months early, plus it's illegal for him to force us to live in a 1bdr apartment with 3 people (My fiancee and me being pregnant.) Not only did he withhold information from the townhouse we were moving to, but even after we gave our notice and that he would send it he still didn't! I Had to have the manager of the townhomes call him and demand the information, if not by fax, then by phone. He was trying to drag it out until after the 3rd at which time he could slap more fees on us! What a HORRIBLE place, I'm glad I'm moving into the townhomes!!
