Bad idea...

Let me just give you a list: 1. Maintenance is so slow, the pool has been closed down a week because the filter "broke". 2. The office signs off for maintenance that hasn't even been done so they can save money. 3. In the past couple months they've gone through 3 apartment managers (that has to say something) 4. We pay $1k a month to not even have a silverware drawer 5. Our downstairs neighbors complain about us walking in the apartment. 6. 5 different dogs take a dump in our front patch of grass and leave it, but patio blinds are an issue? 7. I found dirty panties and a jacket at the park with our kids. 8. They can turn around an apartment in 4 days for a new resident but it takes 2 months to get a new microwave. 9. Their is a domestic violence disturbance every 3 days. 10. It took 3 months to even get a lease violation because corporate "came into town" 11. A little girl about 7 using MF as her daily language around my children isn't approached. 12. The rules of the office and the rules in the lease are apparently very different. 13. You get violations before warnings and are passed out like coupons. 14. There's a crack under our patio door that no one has been able to fix. 15. Pet deposits are only an "option" if you pick up their crap "per the neighbors" 16. Our neighbors throw cigarette butts out over their balcony and I watch the maintenance man pick them up every Monday. 17. We can't even plug our smoke detectors in because they go off when we dry clothes. 18. DIY patio furniture is not considered patio furniture. 19. Bikes aren't allowed on the patio (where else do you put them?) 20. The maximum occupancy for an apartment is apparently lenient. 21. You can hear every time the downstairs neighbors open and close their doors. 22. You can hear conversations from your neighbors in the bathrooms. 23. We didn't get a copy of our lease when we signed on so had to ask for one 4 months later after a lease violation. 24. The police patrol through here 3 times a day. 25. When furniture is set out by the dumpster, you can guarantee it will be gone in less than 24 hours. 26. Our bike got stolen off the SECOND FLOOR! 27. Residents love to yell "condom" in the parking lot. 28. The apparent speed is 50 in the parking lot. 29. Kids love to throw balls at your car and the parents are ok with it. 30. Privacy is not an option. Those are just to name a few. And it's also apparent the office likes to rate themselves on this site as well. Use your own judgement. ***UPDATE*** Now apparently there is a cricket, fly, and ant problem. I killed 5 crickets last night: one in my fridge, 2 on my front patio, 1 between my window and the screen, and one in my room. My neighbor has killed at least 50 in the last 2 days and that number keeps growing. They've apparently sprayed but are still having a problem. They are literally crawling through her front door. The flies come in swarms once you open one of your doors and even in a clean apartment, they sit on your floor. What should I do, pet them? I don't have anything for them to eat because all my food and trash are put away and taken out regularly. Fly traps don't work. Should we be expecting rodents next? There were also about 5 authority figures standing out of someones apartment for about 3 or 4 hours yesterday. 2 undercover cops, 2 uniformed cops, and "evidence" girl, and some other girl that looked like CPS. That was the 2nd time cops even came out to the apartment that I saw. Not to mention next to the complex, downstairs, their neighbors were sitting on the front porch being obviously nosey. Every time I drive by their apartment, they're always on the back patio with their music blaring. If you drive slow enough, you can even hear them cackle. Hello obvious?
