Just moved here early April, Doesn't look good for the future.
Beginning with the apartments showing me a unit that 'was exactly like mine except for the bathtub', but refusing to show me mine until after move-in, it has not been good. The apartment stinks like dog and cat ^%$* but the staff member who gave us the keys said 'I don't smell it' and flounced out like that was the end of everything. Nothing done about this horrible odor in the carpet-odor continues. The area where the washing machine/dryer is located is particularly rank with the odor of cat urine. Downstairs neighbor across the sidewalk allows dog to roam unrestrained all day and night, only takes the dog in when the police show up. Dog barks CONSTANTLY when it's free. Knocking on their door is to no avail-they never answer, then open it and quickly pull the dog in as soon as you go away. Next door neighbor is drunk EVERY NIGHT, singing loudly to loud music, thumping on walls, letting dog roam free and s&*& in the grass, claims 'the rain will wash it away'. No effort made to enforce pet rules-dogs s*&T in the grass and owners never pick it up.Frequently have to park far from my unit because of overcrowding. Neighbor allows dog to roam on my portion of the terrace. 'Garden Tub' is a cheap, rickety thing with cracked sealing around it that is not long enough for an adult. Office staff may be nice, but being nice doesn't cut it when you don't enforce the rules in place, nor remedy problems. Maintenance had to replace two screens which were missing when we moved in. When they finally came, after 3 weeks, they 'hand-built' two ill-fitting screens with huge gaps around the edges, and simply used screws to hold them in place, pretty much guaranteeing we can't open those windows in the summer. I am not only not going to recommend this complex, to anyone, ever, but I am not going to recommend the agent who sent us here to anyone, ever.Share This Review
