We'll See, But It Seems to Be Getting Better
I am a long time resident with no axe to grind. I chose this complex because it has some nice advantages over other area locations.

1) Units are spread out instead of built up. Each building only has 8 units, so residents do not have to live piled on top of each other. There is greenspace and established trees between all the units.

2) The driveways wind between the buildings, so drivers naturally drive slowly and there is no need for a lot of speed bumps. The winding driveways also create lots of parking spaces.

3) Though not as much as when I moved in, the complex is still relatively new. So residents experience modern apartment layouts with newer appliances.

4) There is a washer and dryer in every unit.

I normally don't bother commenting on apartment complexes, but something is happening at MBG. It is getting better.

There are always going to be unhappy residents, and the earlier mentioned advantages aside, the property began steadily declining after I moved in. The grounds were poorly tended. Litter was not picked up. Routine maintenance was neglected. Repairs were unprofessionally performed. I was not surprised by the proliferation of bad reviews on apartmentratings.com.

Then about two months ago, things started improving. My understanding is that there was a change in management. Whatever the reason, the grounds look far better. Gutters and downspouts have been installed on all the buildings, and in general, the place has a nice kept up look.

There is still room for improvement, but I felt the effort being made on the part of management deserved mentioning. Other residents, will make the final determination as to whether it is truly getting better. As for myself, I am pleased with what I have seen and hope the the trend continues.Share This Review
