Verified Resident ā¢ 2023
I moved in in January of 2023. I liked that I and many other units have a private balcony, a stairwell that is never over one flight of stairs to get to your unit, and the stairwell only goes to your unit. So if you hear someone coming up the stairs then you know you have a visitor. But, since I moved in, the complex owners have been turning off the water to the entire complex for 2-3 days a week for 8 hours per day. This is obviously extremely inconvenient. It is now August and it has only just stopped happening every single week. Maintenance men are not skilled in their practice, half the time when something is wrong in my apartment that I need fixed, they end up breaking it in another way. I am a fan of the smart locks that they just installed, but I've heard from other tenants that it doesn't work and then there is just no way to lock your door when you leave the house. Which is obviously dangerous. The nature scenes are nice, my apartment is next to a pond that has ducks and turtles and lots of wildlife. I would love sitting on my balcony to look at the pond much more if it also didn't bring so many bugs. Wasps, hoards of cicadas, june bugs, spiders, everything. I hate bugs with a passion. Sometimes I am scared just walking to my car that I'm gonna run into giant bugs. However, this has also gotten better since they re-painted everything. My apartment's balcony ceiling was chipping and nasty for the longest time until someone finally fixed it, and now we dont get as many wasps. I am so glad about that. Never had an issue with the front office staff, they are nice enough. There is constant work and construction going on around the complex though. you are constantly asked to remove all your belongings from your patio so they can work out there, and none of the maintenance men ever tell you they are about to be outside your door working on your porch, so you just look up and theres several men standing right outside your door on your private balcony, which can be alarming. rate 5/10
