DON'T DO IT
The worse apartments ever. They painted my bath tub to cover up all the rust & worn out coating & paint is everywhere. The back pool never gets cleaned last time I tried to go swimming in it was full of dead frogs gross. They charge you $3.00 for pest ccontrol every month but never come spray & yes there are roaches. Right now they have 52 empty apartments what does that tell you. I could wrote a book but enter at your own risk.

Go somewhere else
Worst apartment I ever lived at. Problems from the very beginning. Apartment not ready for move-in. Roaches that took 3 months to get rid of. Leaky faucet, toilet that wouldn't flush, a/c not working, dishwasher and refrigerator problems. High electric bill. Trashy neighbors. Furniture bin full and a disgusting sight. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from frustration, don't move into Wildewood Manor.

-------- the manager is a horrible manager and a horrible human being. Karma will catch up with her. The maintenance sucks. The apartments suck. Not a good place to stay. Gang members killed a kid over here. I would not recommend living here. This place is horrible.

I have been in my apartment for about 10 years my first apartment. I like my apartment the area is quiet. I have had some great neighbors that moved away and some were not so good. I have had a few problems with my car getting hit in the parking lot but over all i like my apartment

The worse expierence of my LIFE!
I have no idea why I haven't posted my "enjoyable expierence" living here yet, but here I go. My husband and I moved in around July of 2007, it was us and our one month old son, we paid $550 for one of the town homes and for the first few months we LOVED it. We were thinking about purchasing a home, but decided that we might just sign up for a years lease since the rent wasn't bad, the location was good, and it was quiet. That all changed with their maintenance man (who was our neighbor) quit, and they brought in another maintenace man. For the first, oh, two days. It wasn't bad. Then the weekend came, and he had so many people over to his apartment neither my husband or I could not park in front of our apartment and since we were up front, there were only maybe 8 apartments with a ton of parking, all the spots were taken up by his company. The next morning I told him that it was really loud and we had a baby, asked him to keep it down. A week went by and the weekend came back, surprise… See More>happynottorent

couldn't be worse!
This was the absolute worst apartment living experience I have had in my 17 years as a renter. The so called amenities were rarely functional. The pool opening was irregular at best, opening only whenever management felt like unchaining the gates. The laundry room, a basic necessity to any apartment building, was despicable! Every machine would take your money, but you had a better chance of winning at the slots in Vegas than actually getting the machine to turn on. When you did hit the jack pot and found the one machine that worked, your clothes would always come out dirty. One would have cleaner clothes after bathing in New York s East River than after washing them in Wildewood s facilities. Management was incompetent at best, addressing most issues by simply ignoring them. The parking lot had more abandoned vehicles than functioning ones and there were several dumping grounds for garbage spread throughout the complex. Mind you, these did not appear every once and a while, but were the norm for the entire year I stayed there. If… See More>anonymous

All the amenities you could ever want. Too bad you can't use them!
Wildewood manor has many amenities including a pool and a laundry facility, although they may as well not even exist!. The pool is only open from Memorial day weekend to Labor day, which is fine as long as you can get past the chained gate. If by chance, you do get lucky enough to get in, don't bother, it is in deplorable condition. In addition, the laundry facilities leave a lot to be desired. Only about 1 in 5 machines are operational and by the time you find one that works, you've already spent your laundry money. Wildewood manor is also advertising that they have remodeled their apartments. Take it from me, they have not. You are lucky to get a fresh coat of paint when you move in. You can also forget about having carpet that looks better than disgusting! Unfortunately I can not stop there. The management in the complex is absolutely rude. If you ever have an issue, its best you take care of it yourself rather than deal with the incompetent 20 year old leasing agent who happens to be related to the manager, so forget about communicating any issues you have with her either. If after all… See More>anonymous

Don't live here!!
I lived at Wildewood for a year. May 2005-May 2006. Electric bills were outrageous for a one bedroom 700 sqft. apt. VERY poorly insulated. My bedroom was an oven during the summer and a freezer in the winter. Tried to complain about it, I was told by managment there was nothing they could do. A friend of mine that also lived there was paying over $300/month electric! For a one bedroom!!! The electric company told her the meter wasn't the problem. Wildewood finally replaced her a/c unit after about 8 months!
A few months before my lease was over, the electrical outlets started acting strangely. Whenever I used the outlet in the bathroom, it would start to smell funny within a couple of minutes. The outlet itself would get hot to the touch and leave behind a black smokey residue after use. I was afraid there was a major electrical issue and the place would burn up! I informed management several times about it, not ONCE did they even bother to send a maint. guy to check it out.
The rent was decent, but I wouldn't reccomend living here. There's much better in Lake Jackson if you're willing to pay just a… See More>wizzard3535

Worst place to live.
If you want to live in a place where they combine the ------ and white trash then this is the place. If you are looking for horrible customor service look no further. Want an apartment with mold in it? They have them. Do they care? Of course not. stay away from this hell hole. also if you have old furniture to throw away. they have a pile building up in the back corner. looks really beautiful.

Horrible place to live
Management not cooperative, Electric bill every month between $200 and $280, Airconditioner has broke several times and they just juice it some more until it goes out again. Was promised a celing fan when I moved in and received it 6 months later and they ran the cord along the celing and STAPLED IT to the wall-how ------ is that. Dont be fooled by the outside appearance. I was complained on twice by a lady walking her dog that my TV was to loud!!!!! Dont move there!! One time the pool was green for a month. They didnt even lock it and kids came and swam in it.

office staff sucked ---.....
I lived here a while ago, but the office people were very rude to me just because I was young. Also, the fat ------- who lived underneath me called the cops on me twice for walking too loud and claimed I was having huge parties, which I was not, so the office felt a need to cite me. Appearance wise, the inside and outside of these apartments and pretty decent, and the bugs were minimal. Oh, but somebody stole my wallet out of my car in the 10 seconds that i left it unlocked and ran to my apartment. Clute's pretty ------, keep that in mind.

There are much better places in Lake Jackson
I do not recommend living here. For the same price, you could get something much nicer in Lake Jackson. The apartments are pretty old, mine also had a serious ant problem. In Texas you learn to deal with fire ants, but you don't want them crawling all over your apartment. The good things about it are that there's a good supermarket a hundred yards away. And if you work at one of the chemical plants nearby, you can easily drive home for lunch in 5 minutes.
