Terrible. Do not lease here if you want good service.

This apartment complex is not great and I plan to leave as soon as my lease is up. Top Disappointments: - No ones is ever available to answer the phone. - There is a processing fee to make a rent paymentā€¦of $35 or more. So plan for an additional fee just to pay your rent. I have never seen this before. - Apartment was dirty, never cleaned. - Gates are always broken, there is always a broken gate. My first day(s) in this apartment were terrible. First day I moved in the apartment smelled dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke. On the first day they had to send a maintenance person up to fix, toilet paper roll holder, a hornets nest on the patio, and clean up the laundry room where there was still laundry detergent stuck on the floor from the previous tenant. After about a week in the apartment different things kept popping up, the carpet was so dirty, when I walked on it barefoot my feet were black. I got into the shower and left black foot prints that would not come off. Then I had my parents over and my mom stepped on a sharp object left in the carpet from a previous tenant. Later that day I found a tack left in the carpet from the previous tenant. One I found this I started looking a lot closer, you can tell they didnā€™t even paint the walls. There were still tacks left in the wall to hold up a picture from the previous tenant. There were still holes in the walls from where the last tenant left their curtains hanging. I was told I would have wood floors In this unit also, this apartment has carpet every but the kitchen and bathroom. When I purchased a carpet cleaner to clean the carpet the water was BLACK. It was disgusting. I washed the walls and my wash rag came out black. (The apartment complex did admit it needed to be cleaned and offered to have professional cleaner come in, but I work from home and almost every weekend I have planned guestsā€¦there was no time for me to have someone come in and complete something that should have been done prior to me moving it.) When I toured the apartment I was also told the apartments complex was going to be power washed in July, itā€™s September and still has not been cleaned. When you move in here, do not ever expect anyone to ever answer the phone at the front office. I have called so many times, I have gotten their answering service and waited two days for a call back. I went to the office to check if they were really so busy they couldnā€™t answer, but 2 people where in the front yet no one would answer my call. But there sure was an agent available to call me and claim I was throwing dog poop off my balcony, I DONā€™T EVEN HAVE ANY ANIMALS. I had a non emergency maint issueā€¦it took them over a month fix, it only got fixed bc they lost my spare apartment key and when maint came to fix it I asked him to fix the maint issue. There have been other things that have come up, but these are the biggest issues. I am ready to move out.
