Not a good place to live. So I moved in the last week of April, 2023 and at that time the management switched and the new management team did not have my lease agreement one week prior to me moving in. I moved in to a 3 bedroom 3 bath townhome and told I was unable to view my unit I repeatedly insisted that I need to see it before I move in and upon viewing the apartment it was dirty. There was mold on the tile in the restrooms, and it was nothing like the photos and looked outdated. Move in day: Once i began moving in, the leasing office manager did not inform me that there was no garage opener so when moving in, i left out of the garage and locked the front door, so i was locked out of my townhome. When i asked for assistance, the leasing office manager informed me that i was on my own and to call a locksmith, and that i would be responsible for paying any damages. Luckily the second floor balcony was left unlocked when i was inside moving my stuff in, so my friend had to physically climb up to the second floor balcony and open the door and open the apartment for us because the leasing office was of no use to help us this was the first day moving in. Living there: Once moved in, myself and my roommate experienced an abundance of maintenance issues such as the air conditioning going out 12 different times (in 105 degree Texas heat), and appliance and other maintenance issues. This was met with an unresponsive team and me having to constantly follow up with the leasing office to get maintenance resolved. The gate to our toentowm entrance is never working so it is always open and there is a community of homeless people living just steps away under the bridge off 75 and Forest. This makes living in this area very unsafe with the fact that anyone can come in at any time and we are right off a busy highway, 15 minutes from downtown Dallas and are paying way too much to have all of these issues. It is very unfortunate that these beautiful townhomes/ apartments are met with a poor management company, a poor leasing office and maintenance staff and I will be counting the months until I can move out.
