I had a great experience living here. The apartment itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of natural light and a comfortable layout. The amenities are a big plus?everything is easily accessible and kept in good condition. One of the highlights is the management team. They are responsive, professional, and quick to address any concerns or maintenance requests, which made living here stress-free. The community also feels safe and quiet, which I really appreciated. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and major roads, making daily life very easy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to live.

Overpriced new owners took over and spent a year inconveniencing their residence only to start charging for everything they never did and I've seen the rental rates soar and for what? You put up cheap wall decor that means nothing

It's a great building and community, the staff is fantastic and you couldn't ask for a better maintenance staff. The amenities are first class and although it's a big complex, it's very quiet and seems like a smaller complex.

This used to be an amazing property however much has changed. The office management and staff are rude, you sure don't feel valued. The rent is no longer in line with newer places and you are penalized for living there longer. Newer tenants pay less than those that have supported it. They have painted the doors and trim beige over what used to be hunter green and it looks awful and cheap. They spend so much money on landscape that was not meant for this area...we never have meetings where you meet staff and are able to share concerns as they know the feedback is going to be negative

Removed equipment from the gym. Very disruptive past year with maintenance and needing access to my apartment which when you work from home is difficult to manage. Needed apartment access at least 5 or 6 times last year which feel like is on the high side - but most especially they should replace the equipment they removed from the gym. It's so crowded and removing 2 of the 4 benches and the dip bar is awful.

Before moving here, I toured several other apartment communities in the area. Griffis was the most welcoming and cleanest that I found. The maintenance staff was quick to resolve any issue that I encountered (there have only been 3 minor issues). I am very happy with my experience here.

Best maintenance team out of any building I've ever lived in! Any work order I've ever put in is handled that day or the next day for sure. When our AC was broken, they gave us a temporary unit right away and got a brand new unit installed within two days.

Griffis Oak Lawn is a great place to live! They complete timely maintenance requests and I feel safe living here. The elevator closest to my apartment is out of service rather frequently and there are occasionally car break ins, but overall has been a nice place to live!

Griffis is super nice!! everyone is so friendly and the staff is great. there are always so quick to help with any issues. and the remodel is very nicely done. Street noise can be a concern but it's really not bad, and i'm someone who would complain about that but it is very minimal here. Trash service and amenities are also great

I've enjoyed living here so far! My unit is perfect for me and feels like home. I feel safe and the facilities are very nice, always clean. My only complaint is the slow communication or lack of response from the front office. There were some things I had to figure out myself when I first moved in and weren't communicated to me clearly. When I've emailed the office, response time is slow, if at all.

Very good. Not many issues and any issues are resolved quickly. Just continued issues with people at the pool and fire alarms can be a little frustrating. Not an issue but the previous management offered a military discount to the lease. Since I'm active duty Army can that apply for my next lease? Thank you.
