RUN. I am not sure where to begin.. The first issue I experienced with Post Square was when a pipe behind my toilet burst behind my toilet and flooded my apartment. My place was not livable for 3 weeks while they replaced all of the damage. I was never discounted in rent for the almost month I couldn't live there. The crime is horrendous. My car was broken into mid-day on a Saturday in the parking garage, there was also someone who attempted to break into my apartment while I was there on a Wednesday afternoon. Multiple sexual assaults/ rape occurred while I lived there. It was an extremely scary experience living in this building as a female. When I communicated this to the staff, they asked if I was being targeted after my car was broken into.. Even though multiple residents and Starbucks employees had all of their cars broken into the same day. The management is absolutely horrible. I have a dog and the many times I had to call maintenance to fix plumbing, air conditioning, leaks, etc. I had to be there for them to fix it allegedly because I own a pet. Conveniently though, when I had a broken ankle and was in the shower, maintenance attempted to let themselves in without any heads up to "measure" my unit. Luckily, I had my door dead bolted. When I limped and made my way to the door the guy said he had to get into my unit to measure because of a deadline. I called down to the office to ask why I didn't have any type of heads up, and the lady laughed and said they received a call at 10 am that morning from corporate and they had to get in my measurements by end of day. This was at 3pm.. Plenty of time to give me notice. The elevator has been out for over 4 months. It cost me two extra hours to move out of the building. I moved out March 14th, and I called in January to see if it would be fixed by then. The guy who answered laughed and said no way, that they have to replace the entire thing and there was no way it would be replaced by then. The building is falling apart, the plumbing is horrible. When Post management switched to MAAC is when things truly went downhill. Their payment system switched over, and almost every resident I talked to had issues with it. I tried to let them know that the money from that months rent hadn't been taken out of my account, but it was showing a $0 balance in the portal. They assured me everything was fine on their end and it was showing I had paid. I followed up numerous times, to let them know they were wrong on their end and wanted to have it writing that this was documented. About a week later accounting caught the error, and they added on multiple $75 late fees. I called and emailed to let them know that I tried to make them aware of this error. It took going through corporate to get these fees removed, because the Post Square office was so difficult and rude to work with. The last year I lived here was absolutely horrible. I know multiple residents that had lived here for years and moved out this year due to the circumstances. There are many great places to live in Dallas, but a Post property is not one of them.
