I moved into MAA McKinney ( previously Post Square) in 2019 and have really enjoyed living here. Being right in the action but also Having tree lined streets, access to the Katy Trail , and turtle Creek has been wonderful for me and my little dog. I walk everywhere I go and every weekend I go to Klyde Warren Park for free activities or just people watching. These apartments are nice and affordable in uptown. I love the staff they've always been very nice to me. They have made lots of upgrades throughout all of their complexes and even given us access To our neighbor properties Terraces and pools. These are however apartments that Have been here for a while and my only complaint is the lack of insulation between the floors, I can hear my upstairs neighbor . Things break, as do in all homes , they fix it quick and are Johnny on the spot. It's a great place to live especially if you like to be in the action but have a quiet little retreat right in the city! There's great restaurants and bars, in walking distance. Of course there's the occasional homeless problem ( which is everywhere) and we're basically downtown so if you can't handle city problems- it's probably not a good place for you. For me the perks outweigh the riffraff. I love it here!
