First time leaving a review which typically isn't my style but I rely heavily on them when selecting places not only to eat/visit but most importantly to live! So after long thought, I have decided to leave my first in hopes that it will help the next tenant. I'll say that the location of these units in Dallas is amazing! Beautifully tree lined streets in the State Thomas neighborhood, close to restaurants, Klyde Warren Park, Uptown and downtown! They began doing more activities/events with residents the last few months we were there as well. However, I wish we would have been more vocal about our experience while we were living there instead of expressing our concerns after we moved out. Especially considering the condition of the townhome when we moved into it. We were provided a remote to the garage that was dead along with a dead bolted front door so we were locked out. Imagine your movers trying to unload and surprise! We woke up the next weekend to 5 or 6 vehicles including ours that were broken into. We were made aware by police that they have approached Manchester about putting up more lights/warnings signs/security patrol to help deter this from happening as it's a bi-monthly occurrence. However, when moving out a year and half later nothing improved. Our windows were covered in black dirt, dust on the fans, light bulbs out, and baseboards covered in hair/dust). This is only a few to name along with the multiple requests to address the cockroach issue outside the townhomes (this was blamed by management on the park laying new mulch). You'll read reviews and notice this is a consistent complaint of the complex. We were also then charged at move-out for the entire replacement of the carpet. It was claimed that our three pound Yorkie had left enough damage to justify replacing the entire place even though as pictures show only a 36"x36" area was "damaged". They would not agree to charge us only for the damage to those areas but instead the entire place. My example to them was if we broke a light downstairs by accident, we wouldn't be charged to replace all the lights in the place so why are we being charged for all carpet replacement. As a tenant moving out you are expected to leave apartments in a certain condition, but their team does not provide the same level of service or cleanliness when moving in. This review isn't going to be a surprise to management as I finally expressed all my concerns but it apparently was way to late and they no longer cared as we have already moved out. Maybe at the time they would have been able to make things right but instead we were left with hefty bill from Manchester at move-out and less than desirable conditions while living there.

If you every have any question on charges that are billed back to you after move out we have the invoices or any back up that may help with any fees charged back if you would like to receive a copy we can get that for you.
