A friend and I went to the Manchester looking for two separate apartments. I let them know that my move in would be dec 20 and that I needed to give my current apartment 30 notice. I spoke to --- who stated that she had to verify that she could do that date. She spoke to --------------- who then told me that she had to make a phone call to maintenance and corporate but that she would call me Monday and at very least she would get it as close to my date as possible. I didn't hear anything back so I called on Tuesday and spoke to --- and --- told me that dec 20 was good to go and that I didn't need to do anything further. I told her that there was a larger home for rent available and could I look at it? I went to look at the apartment and it was ----. The apartment did not have a washer and dryer but --- said that it would have one before I moved in and if the price went down before I signed the lease the lower price would be honored and I would get the new price and that the price would not go up. I asked her if I could still move in on December 20 and she said yes that maintenance was way behind and that they were no where near getting to the apartment to get it ready to rent. I switched over my application thinking I had until dec 20 based off of what the leasing office told me. -------------- and tells me I have to move in by nov 20 or pay 3000 in rent to hold it until dec 20. This is dishonest. Now ----- is trying to play all clueless like she has no idea or wasn't involved at all in the initial conversation.
