An honest review

Its not the worst apartment complex and far from the best. The area surrounding is nice but this apartment complex is near the very end of the nice area. Its kinda the step child of all the nice apartments around. Inside you'll find the same as most other apartments. A little on the small side. The appliances are all old. We've had trouble with a broken dishwasher, broken air conditioner, leaking faucets and broken outside lighting. Two of these items were "fixed" but not really because we had to call them out again twice. If fast and correct maintenance is very important to you then this isn't the best place for you. The rent is cheap though if you want inexpensive then there are more inexpensive places around here that do the job better. The office people aren't rude but they aren't helpful either. They seem to have the attitude of 'we'll help you but only after you ask and ask again'. I suppose it could be worse there as well. They keep sending out notices to all the renters telling everyone here that they're "watching us" and if we do "anything wrong" they'll evict us. I don't know what people could be doing so wrong they need to threaten everyone in the entire apartment complex but it'd be nice if every message from our manager didn't sound like a threat. The parking is good. Lots of spaces in most areas. You're not guaranteed a covered space but that's not a big problem. As long as I don't have to park a mile away from my front door then I don't see an issue with the apartment complex. The manager is very uncaring. I suppose that happens when you run a complex but she could definitely be nicer. The pool is absolutely never clean. I suppose thats not totally their fault as the pool is surrounded by trees and leaves fall. Still it'd be nice to use the pool just once. Every time we've went to the pool its dirty and we just end up going to use our gyms pool. Grocery shopping is less than a mile away. Same for gas. Serious shopping is about 15-20 minutes away. Night life is further out except for some bars/restaurants. It depends on what you're looking for. I think this might be a decent family complex but only if your kids can live without the heater or AC for a few nights waiting for them to fix it. Best of luck and remember to look around before deciding to move here and maybe consider a six month lease as compared to a year lease.
