I cannot wait until my lease is up in less than 60 days and I can move far from here! Their "multimillion dollar upgrades" when they were supposed to be installing new carpentry is really used wood for siding, used gutters, and new awfully ugly paint. Only new roofs and apparently they are supposed to remodel the pools and it will take "3 weeks" so the pools will be closed during summer. My husband owns a pool construction company, he builds and remodels pools every day. The pool will be closed much longer than 3 weeks. The 3 weeks is for the remodel only and if they have a proper company then the pools would be closed an additional 3 weeks for the plaster start up service, unless they want to ruin the entire project. But they haven't told residents that it will be 6 weeks yet so just a heads up. I'm interested to see if any equipment they exchange is used as well. They changed the parking policy and now visitors have to PAY MONEY to park in visitors parking and visit you, otherwise they WILL be towed. I am a resident and my car was towed 4 times within 90 days because of their lack of sign placement for where people are to park. when you can find parking, that is. Oh, and if you lose your resident parking sticker, they charge you $150 for it. They truly make it impossible for you to have any visitors. 2-3 tow trucks pull in the complex at exactly 10pm every night and they consistently tow all night long. After 3 straight days of registering for visitor parking, they block you from being able to register anymore. I don't know why but it has happened to us 2 times. You have to be on the insurance and the registration in order to get a resident sticker, so anyone who has a car not in their name will be towed (happened to me those 4 times, my car is in my parents name because they helped me in the past). For trash, you are only allowed to use the valet service if you have 1 bag of trash that fits into your trash can outside of your door. Any additional bags left outside of the trash can (oh I'm sorry I cleaned and have 3 bags ??) you are charged $25 per bag! It's a gated complex, but the gate is consistently broken. The numbers box outside of the gate to get in doesn't work as well. If you don't have a gate clicker there is no way for you or your guests to get in. The maintenance team doesn't know what they are doing, it takes multiple trips for them to fix simple issues and they don't solve your complaint, they just do a temporary fix so it messes up again anyway. The old management team was nice and My only complaint about the community was the gate not working right. This new management company is jacking up the prices on everything like this is Austin Ranch or some other luxury Plano/Frisco complex. It is NOT WORTH THE MONEY here. You can find somewhere else with the same rent cost that is nicer, and with better management than the new team.
