DO NOT MOVE TO SILVER CREEK!!!!

My boyfriend has had the misfortune of living in this complex since January 2023. Since then, it has been one thing after another with this place (not joking... it started before he even moved in). For one thing, they can't seem to keep their employees for more than a month or two... he has seriously lived there through at least 4 different managers (that we know of). On top of that, nearly every single month he is heading to the office for yet another issue - whether it is because of some random -------- being charged, the rent skyrocketing by over $1000, the "required" and non-negotiable charge of $25 for valet trash, they ALWAYS attempt to justify whatever the situation is until he finally wears them down and they actually check what they're talking about. And SURPRISE SURPRISE... they always end up backpedaling and admitting he's right... but what if he didn't argue until he won? They would be totally fine with overcharging him!! Today the situation is his rent increased by $70 because they've suddenly decided that the residents will pay for water consumption, but the residents are not responsible for their own individual water use. No, their explanation is that the meter is for the ENTIRE BUILDING, and he is paying "based off of square footage and the number of people on the lease..." so, since he has a co-signer, his water consumption is calculated for him and another person who is never there! To be clear, that means he is paying for a bunch of people he doesn't even know to use water just because they are in the same building... and they can't do anything about it because "the city doesn't know the co-signer is a co-signer and not an occupant" and OF COURSE there is no way they can clear that up for them... *queue eye roll* As it turns out, they DID have some -------- charge on there (for gas randomly) that they had to remove after all... and if he'd just paid and never disputed with them, they would've just gotten extra money for nothing. So that makes me wonder how many people are just overpaying these snakes every month?!? And what about that non-negotiable $25 valet trash that I mentioned before... WELL, they won't even pick up the trash! He ends up having to take it to the dumpster everyday himself because it doesn't meet whatever trash requirements... but, will they remove the charge? No, of course not! Even though the office staff agree and supposedly "argue with them all the time" about it, it can't possibly be removed from the contract! All that aside, this complex is NOT SAFE either! Over a month ago, after staying the night with him, I came outside to find that all 4 of my wheels were stolen and my car was up on landscaping bricks! What was the response from management, you ask? WELL... without even looking up to make eye contact, the manager says they're not responsible, it's not their problem, they have no cameras, and essentially just a big "good luck, -------!" And yea, I guess it isn't their problem, but have a little compassion maybe... you work in hospitality! Needless to say, $6500 and whole --- month long nightmare later, I will encourage everyone I do and don't know to NEVER live in a complex managed by CAF Management.. especially this one. If I could give a zero star rating, I absolutely would. If anyone DOES opt to live there, be prepared to deal with an endless nightmare until you move out.
