From Good to Worse - Bad maintenance & management staff at Milano
I moved into Milano in Jan 2003 and renewed my lease after 6 months stay. Immediately after my renewal apartment management changed. When I enquired, got a funny reply from the current manager, "they all got promoted!". <br> <br>The old management had promiced me a second ceiling fan upon renewal. I got it ! but only after 3 months of contineous reminders. Everytime, I used to get the reply, "your request is in file, we are short on maintenance workers". By the time I got it, it was winter. <br> <br>Once I had the kitchen sink flooding on a sunday evening. Nobody showed up for more than 6 hours. During this time, I had to empty it by carrying the filthy water in a bucket. Finally I had to run to the residents in 2nd and 3rd floors and request them not to use the kitchen sink. <br> <br>Again, 2 weeks back the kitchen sink flooded. I got a response after 4 hours. Great. When I enquired, I got a reply that "Apartment management has 48 hours to do emergency repair, if you have any doubts, read the lease agreement" <br> <br>I had enough with this apartment. They will not allow me to move to a another community within the same management company. I am stuck till Middle of 2004. <br> <br>Unhappy resident of Milano <br>Share This Review
