Stay away from anything managed by Colonial Properties...they will take your money and ripe you off...all of their properties are run like slumlords. If you move any their properties you will be faced with headaches.
In their sister property Shoal Creek someone was Murdered that's how safe they keep the properties. They do nothing for these complexes but take your money...If you have problems and they don't fix them within a reasonable time. You can sue them. It's the Law..under Property Code. You can file a complaint with the city that you live in or call the Building Code of your city. As a tenant you have rights, you don't have to continue to live in these conditions. I'm sure this is not what you pay your monies for.
