Not happy
These apts have horrible management. I was promised an apt (i.e. filled an application and gave fees "look and lease") and given a move in date. Then a few days prior to the proposed move in date, I called to get the exact address for my movers. It was then that I was notified that my apt was not available. The prior tenant had "decided to stay" and they forgot to update the book or me for that matter. Mind you, I called them and they would not have informed me until I attempted to pick up the keys. In addition, it had only been about 2 weeks since I finalized the paper work for the apt. This was now 4days prior to my proposed move in date. All they could do was offer me an apt at a sister property and a weak/sorry apology. The sister property was very nice(colonial grand at valley ranch) and I eventually moved there(really I had no choice. by this time it was 3days before I had to be out of my old place). However, I had to pay a little bit more and my movers fell through (due to the changes). In addition, the bear creek management did not call ahead to inform the sister property of their own mistake. I had to relay the whole mess to them myself. Bear creek had promised that they would set everything up. In short, I don't know anything about actually living there, because I never got the chance. However with this bad a management for a new tenant, I can imagine how they treat those already bound(and gaged) w/ a lease. Of note, the colonial grand at valley ranch is very nice to live in and well run. I actually enjoy living there. Apparently, bear creek is the evil/ugly twin. In short my advice is bad management equals bad apartments.Share This Review
