Stay away- complete incompetence

The management at Milano is completely incompetent. I think this is a great lesson in what happens when someone with no education or legal knowledge is put in a situation where they think they have authority. As other posters have mentioned, the management has left notices on our door threatening to assess late fees, take away specials, etc. – basically, to change the terms of the contract without the acknowledge or approval of the contractee. I really doubt the employees here could spell contract law let alone have any education in it. I can honestly say that if I am ever in a situation where I am charged fees that I did not previously agree to in writing; I will take this apartment complex to court. <br> <br>Another example of the management’s incompetence is their lack of understanding of when bills are due. We received our water bills with a due date of 8/28/03. On 8/18/03 we received a late notice. I called and they stated it was an error and to ignore the notice. On 8/22/03 we received another late notice this time stating “this is not the first notice that has been sent to you about your balance. If you do not pay the amount due, we will not accept next month’s rent check and for every day your account has a balance there will be a $5.00 daily charge as per your rental agreement.” First of all, I still have 6 days to pay my bill. Second of all, the rental agreement does not provide for late charges for water. Once again – an incompetent manager that thinks she has power but will instead get the whole company in trouble with her “I’m there boss here, fear me” attitude. <br>
