This place is a renting and living nightmare....

I've lived here for over six months now, and I CAN NOT wait to move. Like everyone else I fell in love with how big the apartment was. First and for most the staff doesn't give a crap about how you feel. I have had noise complaints on the people above me since the day I moved in. Constant radios blaring, tv blaring through the ceiling in the living room, stomping all through the apartment upstairs. It happens so much that they have actually started ignoring the fact that I even have a problem. Infact one of the ladies in the office actually told me that they are "legally" allowed to blare their stereo until 10pm, unless its just way too loud. I think being woke up from a dead sleep at 8:30 in the morning constitutes as a problem, and the fact that I can't watch tv at a normal level because of the tv above me. Not only that when I first moved in my air conditioner was broken and it took them 3 weeks to fix it. It was leaking all over the floor and even caused water damage to my ceiling... guess who will probably be paying for that. The floors creek and pop everytime someone upstairs moves, and it doesn't help that there's a pack of elephants up there either. The shower doesn't stay warm very long. The pipes drip in the walls, and they're paper thin. I can actually make out their conversations from the bathroom. The maintenance men are nice and they get the job done, but it takes them forever to get to the problem. The front gate is always broken and sometimes have to sit in the front until someone comes out of the exit gate and then there are a bunch of us trying to get in. Parking is a disaster! One week you can basically park anywhere you want, and the next there is no parking anywhere. Someone has been trying to break into my apartment too. I come home to find the locks barely hanging on the doors. They actually broke the sliding door lock. If that isn't scary in its own, I don't know what is! Sometimes my washer and dryer have been moved, and I'm beginning to not feel very comfortable living in this apartment, and the dumpsters don't help the appearance all too well either. Overall I will not be staying here any longer after my lease is up and I definately won't be recommending this apartment to anyone I know.
