Why have a written lease when it&#39;s not worth the paper it&#39;s written on?? 
Noise is a lease violation is it not?  When complaints are made to this so-called office bunch&#44; they do absolutely NOTHING!
It&#39;s like you are unimportant when you go into that office for anything! 
Also how many water bills can we get??  Nobody in that office has a clue about that either.  Don&#39;t ask them - you&#39;ll get a different answer from each one of them!
Also noise&#44; especially boom-box -------- & popping bedsprings & a squeaky mattress from a certain 2nd story tenant goes on & on & on - mgmt does nothing&#44; zero&#44; nada!!  Like I said why have a lease?  
Here&#39;s an idea - go have sex in your Cadillac so I don&#39;t have to listen to you & your -------- all hours of the night.  Some of us work for a living & need our sleep & you are not the only one that lives in this bldg. you &#34;E/N&#34;!!!!

Back again for our final review of Avery Pointe.  We lived there for FOUR YEARS!   I am delighted to report that until the very last day that we had our final inspection for move out&#44; we were thrilled with Avery Pointe.  The staff in the office&#44; the maintenance staff&#44; and the residents have all been delightful! I meant to leave this when our lease was up 4 months ago&#44; but we have been so busy since that I have neglected to share&#44; but I have thought so often how blessed I was to run across Avery so many years ago when I moved back to Ft. Worth with my family.  We lived four happy years with an attentive staff&#44; a beautiful view&#44; and a floor plan that worked very well for our family.  Bravo guys....you have my best wishes for years and years of providing happy memories of Ft. Worth for  folks! 

I m glad to be out.  Living here was a big mistake.  The sewer would back up every few months.  They would take several days to clear it out.  Each time they would leave a pond of raw sewage to naturally degrade&#44; see pictures.  They wouldn t  clean it up. Each time the sewer backed up there would be a new tertiary  layer of material deposited on top of the last.  I finally stopped living there&#44; only storing some boxes.  I told the management I wouldn t pay rent until it was cleaned up.  Rrather than cleaning it they took me to court demanding payment.  The effort to take me to court exceeded that required to clean up the mess.  They just wouldn t do it.  Clearly they felt they didn t need to.  The courts would extract the rent money for a apartment filled with months of raw sewage.  They were wrong.  The judge said I owed them no rent.  I can t rank these folks from 1 to 10.  This standard is for honest people.

If you don&#39;t want to read all my story here is the point: DO NOT RENT HERE. ALL OTHER COMMENTS ARE 100&#37; ACCURATE OF HOW HORRIBLE IT IS.Look at bottom for list of problems.

First I would like to start off by saying that I just moved to ft worth from Austin and have been staying in apartments since I started college. That being said anyone who has ever lived in college apartments or any in general knows that they have their share of problems so I thought this place would be grossly exaggerated on how bad it was but never have a run into such a disaster as Cameron Creek Apartments.

Like I said I am new to the DFW and needed a place to stay&#44; since I got hired for a job here&#44; that had cheap rent and LOOKED decent since I was going to be paying for two places&#44; one in Austin and one in ft worth. I read the exact same ratings as you are doing now but thought there was no way it could possibly be that bad and those complaining were probably raised with a silver spoon. I was terribly wrong.

Everything is as described from other reviewers. Do yourself a huge favor and rent to other places in the area. The area is nice&#44; a lot of shopping centers&#44; nice houses but for some reason Cameron Creek Apartments is the armpit of this area.

My experiences are listed as followed: 1st week I move in not only do not have the required paper work but are missing some of my keys. I manage to get in and within the 1st week my toilet and kitchen sink do not work. Put in request but cannot be performed due incompetence of the office to have spare keys to my apt unit. Takes two weeks to fix. Needed to get mail from mail box but have the wring key and office does not have it either therefore my bills were late. Took week to fix. Never received form to document damage already existing in apartment in order to repair and avoid charges for existing damage. Will update on this once move out&#44; hopefully they will not charge me for what ever was damaged as I still told them. Turned in rent a day late and was charged $300 in late fees. Was told this was what happened when rent is late you forfeit the discounted price and get screwed but was never once mentioned or hinted by incompetent leasing agent. Granted rent should not be late but they showed no leniency towards me despite having turned in rent on time until then. Recently they charged me for having &#34;trash&#34; on my balcony which turned out to be my running shoes in a plastic bag. Went 3 separate times to resolve the issue and was told the 1st time they will provide pictures. Never happened. Went back and was told they do not have time to waste on finding &#34;stupid pictures&#34; because they are too busy. Called and spoke to property manager and was told if she did not find said picture she will dismiss it. Never heard from here so assumed it was dropped. Received letter saying I owed money and if I did not pay it the next day I would get charged fees. Finally told property manager list of failures from office and she hesitantly dismissed the all fees. See image of the &#34;trash&#34; to see just how full of failure this place is. I still got 2 months til move out but have already started looking at other places. You get what you pay for...CANNOT WAIT TO GET OUT OF HERE!!

Problems:
1)VERY shady neighbors. Drug dealers&#44; domestic violence&#44; etc. Cops are frequent here. I&#39;m ashamed to bring guests over and was raised in the inner city
2) Office Staff are truly incompetent and rude. I mean really how much skill does it take to run an apt complex that is not very large at all.
3)Thin walls. You can hear the crying of your female neighbor as she gets abused by her man. True story
4)Old Appliances. Seems they follow the motto if it ain&#39;t broke don&#39;t fix it. Or if it is broke still don&#39;t fix it. Washers don&#39;t work&#44;refrigerator looks like its from the 80&#39;s as well as stove.
5) Gate never works. People come in and out like its a place to hang out at night
6)Random fees of lease violations. Good luck trying to resolve something once accused.

Fuck Cameron Creek Apartments!! The Managment sucks&#44; We had a big water leak they haven&#39;t came to fix it. It&#39;s been over a week now. We have mold growing in our hallway closet.. I recommend to anybody that wants to move in just dont do it its not worth your time or money with these people!!

I LIVED AT THESES APARTMENT FOR A YEAR IN WHICH I HAD SO MANY PROBLEM THAT I COULDNT EVEN BEGIN TO NAME THEM ALL. THE FIRST WEEK WE WERE THERE OUR APARTMENT GOT BROKEN INTO. WE HAD BUGS IN THE HOUSE. THE WALLS WERE DIRTY AND EVERYTHING BROKE CONSTANTLY. THE STAFF FOR THE APARTMENTS ARE SO RUDE THAT I CANT EVEN BELIEVE IT. THEY WILL SAY AND DO ANYTHING FOR YOU TO SIGN A LEASE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

If you are seriously considering living here read this... I regret to say that I lived in Cameron Creek apartments for 2 years. For starters the parking arrangements are horrible and the walkways are cracked and not level.  They always have water problems and it is turned off multiple times every couple of months.  There was also a leak in the ceiling which caused a large hole and wasn&#39;t fixed for over 6 months.  The last straw was when the hot water stopped working and then the hot water heater blew up&#44; sparks and everything&#44; in the middle of the night and water filled half the bedroom.  To top it all off the water bill that month was over $500 and when I called them when it all happened it took forever before they called me back. These are just the major things that happened in 2 years and I couldn&#39;t imagine what would&#39;ve happened if I had stayed longer. This was the worst place I&#39;ve ever lived and I would never want anyone to make the horrible decision I did.

I wouldn&apos;t wish these apartments on my worst enemy. They have terrible customer service. Never answer the phone when you have an issue. The trash valet they force you to pay misses trash day and Cameron creek will charge you another $25 (each time) over your $30 a month charge for it not getting picked up. The apartments are really old and moldy. I&apos;ve gotten to have the mold in the apartment cleaned at least once every two months. It&apos;s ridiculous. When it rains it sinks through the ceiling and leave dark brown spots. I am counting the days for my lease to be up.

I moved into Cameron Creek Apartments in beginning of 2015, Walls Were Paper Thin, No Upgrades Like I was Told I would Have, Car was Broken Into, RATS IN WALLS AND HOME, Bathtubs Kept Peeling and Having To be Resurfaced but the ABSOLUTE WORST PART AND PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THIS NEXT PART RESIDENTS AND PROSPECTIVE RESIDENTS... LEAKS FROM ROOF, AC AND PLUMBING WHICH CAUSE AND CAUSED TOXIC BLACK MOLD, STACHYBOTRYS, PENICILLUMASPERGILLUS AND CHAETORIUM!!! YES PEOPLE NO JOKE, VERY DAMAGING TO YOUR HEALTH!!! GET IT TESTED AND SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION. i noticed Mold told them about it, they sent &apos;THEIR GUYS SKYLINE OUT who Sprayed BLEACH ON IT, DIDN&apos;T COVER ANYTHING UP IN LAUNDRY AREA, HAD ME THERE WHICH WAS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE CUT OUT THE PIECE OF SHEETROCK AND DRUG IT THROUGH THE HOUSE AND SPREAD IT!! OBVIOUSLY WORST METHOD OF HANDLING NOT TO MENTION NONE OF ROOF LEAKS WERE ADDRESSED NOR FIXED WHICH LEFT A SITUATION FOR THE SAME SITUATION TO REPEAT ITSELF SO WE FAST FORWARD I AM FEELING MORE AND MORE SICK NOW IN 2ND YEAR TOWARDS END AND FRIEND SAYS HEY IS MOLD BACK AND GO AND LOOK AND SURE ENOUGH, HAVE MOLD GUY( OUTSIDE OF APARTMENTS PEOPLE TO COME AND TEST AND IT IS STACHYBOTRYS AND AIR SAMPLE WAS EVEN MORE TELLING OF DIFFERENT TOXIC MOLD ALONG WITH STACHYBOTRYS WHICH IS IN AIR IN APARTMENT AND HVAC AC SYSTEM THAT I HAD BEEN BREATHING AND SWALLOWING FOR TWO SOLID YEARS. WHAT IS EVEN MORE DISGUSTING WAS CAMERON CREEKS BEHAVIOR TOWARDS AS A RESULT, STIIL CHARGED RENT WHEN ASKED OUT OF LEASE WITH ONE MONTH REMAINING, WASN&apos;T OFFERED A A HOTEL OR OTHER SAFEPLACE WHILE I LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE RIGHT AT CHRISTMAS NO LESS, WAS TREATED HORRIBLYAND UNJUSTLY WHEN PROPOSED THIS BE TESTED OUT OF CONCERN THAT THIS MAY BE THE CAUSE OF ME FEELING SICK AND WAS TOLD WE DON&apos;T TEST AND WOULD NOT REIMBURSE FOR TESTS ON IT. WAS ALSO CHARGED THE 3 DAYS INTO JANUARY BECAUSE THAT WAS WHEN I COULD GET MOVERS DUE TO HOLIDAYS. MEANWHILE THEY HAVE MOLD TEST RESULTS AND UNDERSTOOD THE IMPLICATIONS TO MY HEALTH AND THE HEALTH OF OTHERS!!!! SICLY AND DISTURBING BUSINESS MODEL., ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL DO NOT MOVE HERE AND IF YOU DO LIVE HERE MOVE OUT IMMEDIATELY

I have lived at Cameron Creek since March of 2020. I agree with the other reviews about the staff being personable and enthusiastic. However, their approach to resolving issues with apartment maintenance and other tenants is questionable. My apartment had water leaking into it (on the floor) for 6 months. I would clean up the mess and contact maintenance. Maintenance would come and do nothing. I had filth regurgitating in my sink for 6 months. Again, maintenance would come and do absolutely nothing. After 6 months they finally hired a plumber. I was awoken one night by a loud crash only to discover that my sliding door glass had been broken. The double pane glass was intact, as only one of the panes were broken. I did contact the police and apartment management. Maintenance did not fix the door for weeks. (Never did discover how the door was broken.) There are other issues that were present when I moved in that still have not been resolved like the laminate floor peeling and cracks in the walls. There is a huge issue with dogs at Cameron Creek. Dog owners absolutely do not pick up after their dogs and this is not enforced in any way. You cannot walk around the property without seeing an extreme amount of dog feces. Dogs bark all day and all night. I contacted management many times about the dogs barking and there was no resolution. I contacted management, as well as security, about dogs being tied up outside all day long and again, there was no resolution. There&apos;s always a smell of marijuana in the corridor. If I can smell it, I&apos;m sure maintenance, as well as management, can also. The floors are very, very thin and I am woken up continuously by the neighbors above me stomping on their floor. I confronted the neighbor but as you can imagine, that did not go well. I have bought a noise machine but nothing helps. After 15 months, I finally had enough and decided I needed to move. I was told (even after expressing all of the negative reasons why I was moving) that I needed a 60-day notice as well as a fee of 2 months rent to break my lease. So essentially to get out of the apartment, I needed to pay $4,000. I think that this is very extreme considering all of the issues that have been prominent since the day I moved in. Again, the people in the office are good at showing their concern about your issues but that&apos;s where the resolution stops. These apartments are simply too dated and too loud for the amount of rent that is being charged. If you&apos;re young, and have a dog, and like to smoke marijuana, then these are the apartments for you. But if you&apos;re older, and quiet, and looking for a place to rest, then I would definitely look into another complex. There are definitely better apartment communities available for us older residents that just want peace and quiet.

I am so fed up with this place!!!!! I have a year lease here and I can&apos;t leave til march. I have been living with fleas for over a month now. Pest control is no help. & if you try and do something yourself to get rid of them pest control will not come in. They have only been to my place two times. They were supposed to come Friday and they did not. The fleas are so bad I have to check my 2 year old daughters hair for fleas everyday. Almost every time she has some. You can&apos;t sit and enjoy food or tv or anything without getting eaten alive from the fleas it is infested!!!!!!! I&apos;ve tried fogging on 2 separate occasions and diatomaceous earth. I&apos;ve bought a flea trap light. Im keeping all evidence of the fleas because the office is no help. I&apos;ve called corporate and left voicemails and have received no call backs and I&apos;ve even emailed corporate as well. No I do not have any pets. The reason this all started is because maintenance came in and left my door open without shutting it when he left. All I can do now is either get health inspectors involved, the news and lawyer because I&apos;m paying almost 1,000 a month a single mom of 2 kids and have to live with these unwanted guests. I CANNOT DO IT ANYMORE!!!!!!

This is a DANGEROUS place to live!!! DO NOT LIVE HERE! It is littered with methanphetamine addicts and illegal activity and drug sales. My next door neighbor sold Hugh volume drugs and EVEN COOKED them all hours of the night and I reported it to the complex and police and they did nothing. NEEDLES in the street and people shooting up in front of my apartment all day and night. Crackheads would walk on foot all day to the crack house next to me because the GATE WAS NEVER CLOSED! Me and my kids were necensafe here and they did NOTHING about it. When I had no choice to leave for safety since they did nothing they charged me and blamed ME! Awful management, heartless and always changing. They do not care for safety and are only interested in money. They don&apos;t answer the phones and the manager is down right rude and egotistical. $1300 a month to live next to meth lab in unsafe fearful environment with kids and they did NOTHING! STAY AWAY.

This place is DANGEROUS. I&apos;ve been robbed twice (debit card & tires/rims) totaling $6000 in damages. There&apos;s been multiple domestic violence disputes in my building alone. The building ALWAYS smells like weed and when you tell the staff they tell you to call the police and do nothing to help. The security gates don&apos;t work and there are no cameras on the property. I&apos;m trying to get out of my lease because I am genuinely scared living here and the property manager said I need to give a 60 day notice and pay an $1850 fee. DO NOT RENT HERE.
