stay away!

I loved this apartment and the floor plan when i moved in. I loved the matenance too. Everything is really pretty good on all those fronts. My problem and from what i gathered from neigbors also, was rent increase. They don't care at all about long time renters because they raise rent over $100 a year. seriously its CRAZY! Then they offer new move in deals that are less than what i'm even currently paying and when you ask them why they are increasing it so badly they reply that they have no idea how you got in so low its too low and we have no choice. But that makes no sense when a new tenant is offered $100-$150 less than current paying price. I even raised that concern and they denied it stating that the new tenant must be mistaken. When i moved out they did charge for cleaning which was obserd because the aprtment was very clean. They also charged for carpet cleaning when i specifically kept it very clean with a machine. In fact, a re-signing they offered to clean carpets for free and we declined because it was allready being done by myself once a month. So out of the $400 i paid, i only got $48.00 back! It was terrible! I had issues allways with the staff in the office too. Very high turn-over and very caddy women working there that were very rude to tenants. I would move in somewhere else even if its cheap because in a year you'll be paying what the better apartmnet down the street is charging and you'll want to move all over again. In-fact if you go down bryant irvin to the other side of twenty there is a street to turn left on after all the shops that has GREAT apartments down there that are just as beautiful without the headache. I think the street has park something in it. But there are like 10 down there, at least 3 more beautiful than Avery Pointe. Good Luck!
