So I like many others fell in love with the apartment apon first view. It was just so big and for what they were asking it seemed too good a deal to pass up. So like everyone else my roommate and I decided to do it... yay we were so excited. We moved in at the beginning of the summer and right off the bat our ac did not work, not to mention that it took us 3 weeks to get someone from maintenance down here to fix it. When they finally got here to fix it they gave us one window unit for a two bedroom apartment and then it was another 4 weeks until our ac was "fixed!" After they so called "fixed" it, we came home to a flooded floor all the way to the door. The actal unit had gave way right there in our hall floor. So getting them to come down and fix that was like pulling teeth, and another 2 weeks. That's alot of towels! It took about 5 tries for them to fix it from leaking, and it was all good. Even though my ceiling is missing paint and looks like hell because of the water damage and my floor has buckled. The hot water sucks and there's no pressure. If your neighbor upstairs is taking a shower, forget it! The hot water stays warm for about 8 minutes and its cold water from there. Parking is a nightmare! If there's a party in the complex, they don't park infront of the building it's in, they park away from it and walk; so if you live in another building you have to walk. Oh this is my favorite part!! The floors upstairs pop everytime they walk and it makes it even worse if they have heavy feet. Im on the first floor and I can tell you everything my upstairs neighbors are doing when they're doing it. You can hear their conversations and tv's through the ceiling, smell what they're cooking, know when they're showering, you can hear everything! There's a slow water leak in my dining room wall flowing from the other apartments above me and it has caused my wall to buckle and you can hear it dripping. The bugs here are horrible too. I've called 6 times to get them to come spray for ants and they still have yet to do so, that's because the windows have a gap and they come in from the outside. During Christmas they had some people going around trying to break into apartments(mine was one of them), so instead of sending a notice around to aware people of what was going on; I came home to the lock on my front door barely hangin on! First was the front door, then the back door, and they almost had the sliding glass door. People were breaking into cars. It was horrible!! So let's see maintenance sucks and they give you bs answers that don't even make any sense, and the staff in the office are probably some of the rudest unconcerned people I've ever rented from! They don't care so why even bother! The curtesy officer is never around, the trash over flows by the dumpsters. You can hear people trompling up and down the stairs, the little kids running and screaming outside. I can even hear the stereo from another building in my apartment. This place is lame, and if you're concidering it, I'd look else where. It looks like a bargain, and the size will get you everytime, but since I've moved in here I haven't gotten any sleep. Now my new neighbors upstairs are even WORSE! I can not wait until my lease is up in december!!! and guess what?!? My ac is leaking again and they've made 5 attempts to fix it already, and the summer has just begun. AMAZING!
