Welcome to the Middle Class ------....

My roommates and I have lived at the Avery Point apartments for 9 months now, and have gone through three different managements. Nothing has improved yet. <br><br>If you like apartments where things take months and months to get fixed, if at all, and the "community features" are always breaking, then this is the place for you.<br>The hot tub hasn't worked since we have been there. <br><br>The gate breaks all the time. Half of the time it is propped open with orange street cones that people steal from the street. There was a lady going in to the apartments who had the gate shut on her and damage her vehicle and the management told her that it was too bad because they are not liable for the gate.<br><br>We have asked for our roof to be fixed over 7 times, and the leak in it is so bad now that whenever it rains, the wall bubbles up and turns a horrid color, and there are stains clear down the wall. It hasn't been fixed, and every time management switches, they conveniently lose all record of work orders. <br><br>My roommate ordered books for her classes at college, and didn't receive them for two months, even though UPS had a signature and confirmation number from the office. She had to declare them lost and reorder them, and then management brought them to her two months after class had already started.<br><br>People jump the fence all of the time from the apartment complex next door.<br><br>The original managers were really cool, and we loved it when we first moved in, but we are looking forward to moving out now.
