Can't Wait To Move Out...

For the last 7 months the property managers have let garbage pile up in the parking lot on weekends. It got so bad, I got fed up and called the City Of Fort Worth and had them send an inspector down. I don't know if the building was issued a warning or a fine but I sure hope so. I walked past the pool one time, looked up at another gentleman's apartment and noticed he had an indoor "swamp cooler" sticking out of his window during a 110F heat wave and management left it like that for an entire weekend. I feel kind of bad for that guy/girl. Security here is a joke - before July 4th they sent out a notice telling us to make sure we have property insurance in case someone burns the place down with fireworks. Cars were broken into on the property and the manager sent out a letter reminding tenants they don't care and our safety is our own concern, not theirs. There are 20-30 units empty in this place as far as I can tell and they're sending out notices asking people to stay and renew their lease for extra money. They must be kidding! One resident told me they're raising the rent on the 2BR he and his wife/kid have to $2055. Insane. We're in the middle of a recession, you can do better anywhere else. Literally any apartment complex in the immediate area is cheaper. If you read the reviews from me and other tenants here and still move here - you deserve all the misery you get. Seriously, if you move here ...you're stupid. Oh and as a final thought - I want to say the manager of this place is a liar. A tenant here claimed their apartment was burglarized several times while they lived here, Lauren responded saying they had "key access records" for the apartment and no such thing happened - btw ...the doors here are standard deadbolts not smart locks. So she has no records and is a liar. That comment from her gave me a real chuckle and inspired me to write my own review.
