Wouldn't recommend to a single female
I lived here for almost a year in 2002-2003. I was very impressed when first moving in...the prices were great, the apartment was great, staff was courteous. However, once I moved in, and was there on a daily basis...I began to see the kind of people that were hanging around everywhere...each day, on my way up to my apartment, there would be a group of men hanging around in an area where there was a little gazebo, smoking pot and causing a ruckus. They would stare at me the whole way up to my apartment and make me feel very uncomfortable. Then...I had a peeping tom. Of course, nothing was done...I was told...well, the guy probably had the wrong apartment. Well, excuse me...but I don't care whose apartment he's at, he shouldn't be peeping in windows. He also rattled my door knob after he saw that I had caught him peeping. It was a very terrifying experience. Also...be warned about fires in this place. In January 2003, my building caught fire at around 10 in the evening..it engulfed the entire building and I was forced to move. As I stood outside and watched the building nearly burn down, I heard from other neighbors that it wasn't the first fire they've had there. I was able to be released from my lease and move after this fire, thankfully. They had also raised my rent after the first 6 months by $35/month. Anyway...I wouldn't recommend this place to a single female, because it just doesn't feel safe there, especially with a peeping tom on the loose. (Also..their security gates don't work most of the time)9/11/2020
