Worst move in experience/horrible management

I am furious with these apartments and I have only lived there a week! The manager is completely rude and unqualified for any type of postition in authority. When we first moved in, they bumped us back a week. We got a different excuse as to why every time we called. First it was because of carpet. Then paint. THEY DIDNT EVEN PAINT THE WHOLE APARTMENT. They stopped at the kitchen and there was still FOOD and stains all over the walls!! The repair men had left TONS of grout all over our doorknobs in the bathroom and on the floors. It was the sloppiest, nastiest job I had ever seen done. But that was once we FINALLY got in. We were supposed to meet them at 10 am (when they open) to sign our lease and get the keys to start moving in. Not only was the girl AN HOUR LATE and left us locked outside, but when she FINALLY got there.. SHE HAD THE WRONG KEY and had to use MY cell phone to try and call her manager who ignored ALL of her calls and voicemails for HOURS. FINALLY another employee came up with a key and we were let in to sign out lease. By this point, however, we had lost the uhaul due to a time frame which only made our moving experience THAT MUCH HARDER. After we get into the apartment, our oven doesnt work. Well, how are we supposed to eat dinner? So I call the answering service who tells me that my appliances not working is something I need to wait until the next day for. Well, im pretty furious so I call the managers cell phone again and leave her a nasty little message. She FINALLY calls back and says she will send the maintenance man over. Ok, great. One problem down. Next our dishwasher has no labels on it so it is impossible to run because you have no idea what you're turning the dial to!! AND the light in our bedroom doesn't work. Now I am pregnant and get very hot at night and it is extremely difficult for me to sleep with no fan. We go to the office to get our mailbox key and speak to the manager (who had told us to come in for compensation) and she doesn't even make eye contact with us. Interrupts me when I am trying to explain to her all of the things that are still broken and I had to remind her that SHES the one who told us to come in. Then she writes the WRONG apartment number down on our complaint list.. She says she will send the repair man to fix everything that day. 4 more days go by before I call again and get the repair man but we STILL don't have the part we need for the dishwasher. Then when we were given our mailbox key, it was the WRONG key. So that was another few days before we could check our mail. Anyway, it has been a nightmare with these people and this is just the first week. OH, I forgot to mention them changing the deposit on us from 99 dollars to our first months rent at the last minute. And to top everything off the management is one of the rudest women I have ever met. AWFUL experience. I would not suggest living there unless you are a handyman.
