Colonial Reserve is an awesome place to live!  The amenities are fantastic; the leasing office personnel are top-notch and actually care about me and my daily life; the maintenance staff are without a doubt the best in the business, and I would not live anywhere else.  My living experience is excellent, right down to the fact that I can have a lightbulb changed at a moment&apos;s notice.  The people who live here are very friendly, we are a close community, and look out for each other.  
I do not have issues with noise, have never even seen a bug, but most of all I love having my family and friends visit because they are quite impressed with Colonial Reserve at Frisco Bridges!

I seriously do not know where the people in the other reviews were living that said this place was clean but MAA Frisco Bridges is disgusting. There is dog pee in the hallway. People leave there trash right outside the trash chute which attracts bugs. Not all dog owners pick up after their pets so there is poop on the sidewalks. Just gross!!!

The apartment I viewed during my virtual tour, looks nothing like the apartment I leased. Messy paint job, paint spots on the floors, light bulbs out, damaged cabinets, dusty, closet rack broken, carpet in the bedroom lifts and was not cut correctly, etc. Don't get bamboozled, the staff is friendly and can make you think the virtual move in process is simple. It is completely obvious from the condition my apartment was in when I arrived no one actually did a walk through. The community is beautiful.

Community space was fine. We have had continued issues with our appliances from our refrigerator going out to a leaky new fridge that replaced it and now a complete mess that was left from the maintenance. All in all disappointed with how we've been treated

Professional, quick, easy, friendly and comfortable. I have had so many people not even greet with a smile and no professionalism in answering phones or emails. Here I was contacted even when the time was running out in end if day and not rushed.

This community has an excellent office staff to guide you in choosing your next home. Maintenance quality is 5 star. Surroundings of a park with waterfalls, trails, pond and provisions for your pets are included. Club house, exercise facility and salt water pool for relaxing under beautiful palm trees is a total package for a new lifestyle!

MAA Bridges has many different floor plans, styles, small, large, square, triangular and extremely well kept apartments. The area feels safe and well stocked with shops and things to do. Living has new meaning, try it and buy it.

I have been treated very well quick response to maintenance request and any other request that's necessary for me to feel comfortable in my apartment as of  today. The amenities swimming pool gym exercise area a great features I have been using the gym and plan on using the pool purchased a new set of swimming trunks just for that to do exercise more frequently. I appreciate the amenities in the complex and the safety features with scanner for the garage as well as keyless entrance into my apartment.

Recently, my apartment experienced a flood, and the repair process took a 9 days. The inconvenience was substantial, and despite the significant disruption to my living conditions, the offered compensation was only $200 off my $2,750 rent. I expected a more equitable resolution given the circumstances. Timely and fair compensation would have better reflected the impact on my daily life during this incident.

It is an ok place to live. Maintenance is a bit slow on repairs. The garage could use a cleaning. Tenants are not held accountable for putting out trash on non pick up days. People violate the garage access by waiting to follow tenants into the garage.

My recent experience with Mid-America Apartments (MAA) in Frisco, Texas, has been highly disappointing. I feel itâ€™s important to share my story to help others make informed decisions when considering this property. Background: I recently relocated from Houston to the DFW Metroplex and signed a lease with MAA. Due to the urgency of my move, I signed the lease without physically viewing the apartment, relying on a video tour provided by MAA. The video, along with assurances from the leasing team, led me to believe that the unit would be move-in ready. I ended my lease early in Houston, planning to move directly into the new apartment to avoid multiple moves and storage costs. Key Issues: 1. Misrepresentation of Unit Condition: The video and promises from MAA suggested that the apartment was in excellent condition. However, upon arrival, it was clear that the apartment had not been cleaned and was in disrepair, which contradicted what was shown in the video. 2. Failure to Provide a Move-In Ready Unit: Despite repeated assurances from the leasing team, the apartment was not ready on the agreed-upon move-in date. This failure to provide a habitable environment caused significant inconvenience, particularly given my tight moving schedule. 3. Inadequate Maintenance and Cleaning: After moving in, numerous issues persisted despite multiple maintenance requests. Mold testing confirmed the presence of mold, highlighting the inadequacy of the managementâ€™s efforts to address the problems. 4. Presence of Mold and Unsanitary Conditions: The apartment had visible mold, unpleasant odors, and dirt, creating an unsafe and uninhabitable living environment. 5. Discrepancy in Square Footage: There were discrepancies between the reported square footage and the actual size of the unit. I received conflicting information from MAA, which raised concerns about the accuracy and transparency of the information provided. 6. Failure to Address Maintenance Requests: Maintenance requests were not handled effectively. Despite multiple requests for resolution, issues with mold and odors persisted. 7. Refusal to Provide Reasonable Accommodations: MAA failed to accommodate reasonable requests, such as temporary storage of belongings during repairs, and did not adequately address my concerns about the unitâ€™s condition. Financial and Emotional Impact: These ongoing issues have caused significant inconvenience, discomfort, and financial loss. Despite not living in the unit, I have continued to honor my lease obligations, including rent and utilities. I have documented communications with MAA, along with photographs, videos, and mold inspection reports to support my claims. A demand letter was sent to MAA outlining my grievances and seeking reimbursement for damages. Unfortunately, their response was inadequate, denying my claims and refusing compensation. They advised me to submit maintenance tickets or contact the office directly, despite the fact that all issues were clearly detailed in my letter. They also suggested that I pay the penalty to terminate my lease early. Given the circumstances, this seems unreasonable as I was misled about the condition of the apartment and have dealt with significant issues that were through no fault of my own. Conclusion: This ordeal has been extremely stressful, leaving me unable to move to a new apartment due to the binding lease and forcing me to rely on the support of friends and family. Based on my experience, I strongly advise caution when considering leasing with Mid-America Apartments. My experience has been marked by unmet promises, unresolved health hazards, and insufficient management response. I hope this review helps others avoid similar issues and prompts MAA to improve their tenant relations and property management practices.
