I was having trouble looking for an apartment and was being continually turned down by other properties. I found NorthernCross online and sent my application to them on a Saturday and I was signing for my key the following Tuesday. The apartment was very clean when I moved in and in 6 months living here, have had no issues. The property has constantly been doing small projects to improve the property and it's appearance.

It's been pretty good living here. They have two pools, a little dog park. Most of the residents are quiet. Some Residents need to be more respectful of there neighbors and pick up their dog waste when walking

Never had any trouble with maintenance fixing things. Choices of garage or covered parking, cost is extra for that. A HUB is available for Amazon, UPS, Mail deliveries. Been living here since 2013. Even though they have turn-over in rental agents. Management has been good.

Things are easy here. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The maintenance team handles my work orders the very next day. They're attentive to the property. The gate works and they leave it open during busy times of the day (morning when everyone is leaving to work/school 7-9ish and afternoon when everyone is getting home from work 5-7ish) which is convenient. Rent is comparable to the area and not bad at all. Overall it's great. My only complaint is that some of the residents don't take care of the property and leave trash around sometimes.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. They charge ridiculous amounts of fees, apts are not repaired/remodeled well and are falling apart, Apt buildings are settling noticeably. Front office management is absolutely terrible and corporate office is unreachable. Save your money and go to a newer complex (like the one next door) where the amount you pay is actually worth the amenities you get. Dumpsters are always full. They make you pay for a mailroom that packages are routinely left out of lockers and sometimes out of the mailroom in an insecure location. One and probably only positive note is the maintenance team is great!

Great complex great staff. No issues currently. Maintenance staff is very friendly and quick to respond to needs and requests. Most people are very friendly. Grounds are kept up and pools maintained. All is great just need better trash service, people living here to be better people.

I love this place. I don't have any complaints. The maintenance guys are always there for me and resolve any problem so quickly. The places is really nice. I don't have issues with the spots on the parking lot.

We have had an overall positive experience at Northern Cross Apartments. We moved from Building 14 to Building 10. The new building is not easily handicap accessible for my husband who is wheelchair bound. The ramp by the handicapped parking leads to steps which is totally unhelpful. I had to obtain a garage in order to have unhindered access to bring my husband in and out in his wheelchair without obstruction. Other than that, the property is relatively quiet and well kept.

These apartments are better than others but way overpriced. Too many minor issues to continue to report. They do keep the ground clean though, besides many neighbors leave trash out for days. But they have great gated system.

My experience at Northern Cross Apartments has been a good experience. When I enter a maintenance request they respond quickly depending on the urgency. The area is quiet and management staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds are secure and we have access to contact a courtesy officer if needed. Overall my experience has been a pleasant one thus far.

Besides the 2 murders here...someone tried to kick my door in at 11 pm at night...5 yoing boys going around knocking on doors and running.. multiple teenage boys loitering about at night together.. drug dealing in apts. I took video..told police and apt mgr..but they said they can't do anything My rent increases over 4 yrs is now 1740 for 2 bed 2 bath with 2 carport. I am 73 and can no longer afford it when my next increase comes. It is difficult for me to move at this age with multiple med problems . The mgr and assistant mgr are great..but seem unable to control all the bad things. Kids are always crawing over the fence to get in . For this to be a gated community..it does not keep anyone out. People just follow other people in. I pay 40 for my carports and people always park in my carports. I thought the towing company was supposed to check tags. There are a lot of bad things and bad people here. This has gotten this way over 2 yrs.

I've had my car broken into, there's been a lot of police activity, and there's been a lingering smell of Marijuana coming from almost everywhere. Not to mention, there's cracks in my apartment and my door won't even close all the way. I would not recommend living here.

Those that love pot makes it awfully hard on us that don't.!! Especially those not in the best of health.! This is our main complaint. There could be a few more handicap parking spots available also.The front staff ladies and the maintenance men are excellent. All in all, we would give you 4-1/2 of 5 stars.! In closing, with deep respect, if you are not going to enforce a rule, there is no sense in having one.!

Pools are often dirty or decommissioned, lots of extra fees are tacked on when moving in and out. I transfered apartments and they tried charging me for cleaning and admitted the charge was BS. Neighbors are loud in the walkways but also depends on where in the complex you are. On the other hand, the office generally get my issues taken care of in a decent amount of time and Christina has worked directly with us on several issues to find proper solutions. I do like living here and recommend!

The application process was easy and the leasing agent at the time was helpful and friendly. Maintenance responds to requests within a few days. The staff tries to keep the complex looking nice. However, they don't maintain the grass or the trees.

Apartment structure isn't even! The living room floor is tilting towards the balcony. The management doesn't care and rarely fix any issues that come up! Some of them are SUPER rude! There are so many bugs and insects in the apartment. No matter how many times I put in pest control request, it takes forever for the pest control company to pass by and it's never effective! AC/Heater units are very old. Heaters use very old technology, so the energy usage is crazy high (I know this based on previous experience in that field) Neighbors are very loud and common areas are very dirty! Gym is very old and needs to be upgraded!

Worst apartments I've ever lived in. I can't wait until my lease is up and I can move. My apartment and hallway always smells like weed, air conditioner can't seem to be fixed correctly. Truly embarrassing when visitors come over and 1st thing they say is "it smells like weed" or "it's really hot in here". You call the office they never resolve any issues. The property always has trash and dog poop everywhere. I have to pay for covered parking in order to ensure a parking spot.

It was nice at first. Now the landscaping is awful. Dead bushes everywhere and rocks. Now I can only have 1 visitor over within 24 hours and the same visitor can't come by more than 3 times within 7 days or they will get towed. How many people only have one friend or family member that may come by? Not me. The app to open the gate is a pain in the ---. Only because they couldn't fix the code box that worked half the time. I'm tired of neighbors dogs barking non stop. Working from home and dogs barking all day doesn't go well together. It's about time to move on to a better home soon. This place has gone down since moving in here. The office staff is not helpful at all. How many times do you all completely ignore emails? Can't explain all the fees added onto the rent? It's just gone down all around since moving here.

Move here in 2020. Mostly everything has been pleasant except for the rent increase but that's everywhere & I wish they would pressure wash the staircase because they're nasty. Everything else has been pretty cool!

I been living here for some years now and the apartments have gone through many management changes. However the ones who are here are pretty decent. The complex has had its ups and downs, but they are trying to make it better. I think the prices are little too high, but I don't make the rules.

I have had a good experience since I've been living here since 2011. The maintenance staff and office staff are great. They're always available and take all of our our concerns. I love the maintenance staff. They are well trained by the head maintenance man and it's just been a joy to live here. The management has always been there working with me so that I can remain comfortable in my lovely apartment. I have a beautiful garage Garage that I love and I'm so grateful to have. It was one of the main reasons I wanted to move here along with the location. access to a garage to kept my car safe and protected from the hot/cold Texas weather. As a senior I feel very safe in this community.
