More than your average rate of crime

Since early 2011 until now theres been @ least 6 acts of violence between mugging and robbery and according to a previous review stabbing. There is a late nt security person driving around after about 6pm and midyear mgmt shut the side entry gates off from 11pm-6am so partial effort on Amli's part has bn made but that still hasnt decreased the level of crime in the complex. A week or so ago 3 ppls apts got robbed incl a guy in the same unit as me by way of the thief prying the door and this was during daylight hours. Mgmts response..."hide ya kids, hide ya wife" lol, just kiddng but really the response was.."lock your doors, don't walk around during late hours alone...etc etc.and if you would like to invest in our amliconnect security system thats an option. When I got the crime notice I was like Huh... really...1.everybody's hm that was robbed doors were lockd which is why the thief pryed the door 2.if someone lives alone if they nd to leave @ nt they WILL hv no other option but to travel alone 3.instead of suggestng ppl to buy the security system maybe Amli shld buy a better surveillance system w/cameras for every entry point to monitor the incom/outgng traffic during the supposed times of these crimes. I'm not an unrealistic & naive person believing crime doesnt happen but I do believe more can be done to control it in this complex. Video security by day...video security and guards by nt..will be an addtl cost but what does AMli care their increasing rents @ renewal time (inclding mine by $60) so why not invest in a better survllnce system.
