I am currently living here from last 1.5 months. I spoke with apartment management about few issues on very first day and they did not fix it till now. Their maintenance is VERY BAD. The maintenance staff are robbers. I have heard so many cases where&#44; when ever a maintenance work is done when nobody is  at home&#44; they lose some items.  Management says that they have no idea who did that. The management and maintenance guys share that stolen items. The management is very rude and arrogant. Until you sign the lease&#44; they speak very well and once you sign the lease&#44; they will show their true colors. I will never live in any AMLI apartment in future.
The apartments are decent and parking is ok. But there are lot of crimes and robberies in this complex. The entrance gates are always open and there is no security here. You can see animal ---- all over the apartment complex (on roads&#44; sidewalks too)  Very dirty apartment complex.

To wrap up the story&#44; decent apartments&#44; bad management&#44; bad / lazy maintenance&#44; dirty complex&#44; crimes and robberies&#44; very expensive compared to other apartments.

DO NOT Move to AMLI on Eldridge Parkway

Not recommend!!!!! Too many bugs, fleas, bed bugs,and roaches!! Disgusting!!!!I got bug bites more than 20 spots in 2wks!!!! Also so noisy exterior AC unit!!! The Worst place ever!!!

Love this place...good maintenance&#44; lively atmosphere&#44; clean&#44; quality appliances&#44;lots of lndians....
Worth it paying for a star one bedroom....


I stayed in this community in 2009 for 9 months and it was wonderful and came back again in April 2013 and everything was good until this week. SNAKE or snake like creature in house (see pics from bathroom)and what is terrible was no concern from community. Here are some ridiculous statement from lease when I asked for help and complained about it.

1-When I showed them picture and asked for help&#44; one lady said &#34;this is not snake&#34; (as if she is animal expert and has achieved PHd and figure out without looking with naked eyes).Note my statement was snake or snake like creature

2-Another lease consultant statement--&#34;we cannot do anything if snake went back and hiding somewhere&#44; maximum we can do is block those holes&#34;..well there are so many holes and what if snake comes back

3-As expected&#44; next morning it came back and roaming around on carpet and this time again when I called&#44; hear this statement--&#34;You can catch it and bring it so that we can have a look&#34;..these  people get scared even seeing cockroach and they want me to bring snake and put it on their table. Being on 1st floor&#44; everyday I see bugs and I can understand since it is first floor so I never complained whenever I see cockroach or insects or many small bugs but this time it was different.Now it went inside carpet and we don&#39;t know where it is and obviously it is job of apartment to take such issue seriously.

So the question is&#44; what if this is really snake and even if it is not and what if during sleep it just comes out and bite or roams around kitchen or dinning area. What if it is dangerous and people die&#44; Who will be answerable. Today night all these smart or I should say dumb lease people are sleeping nicely and me and my wife are worried what to do and where to go for sleep..probably will go to my friend or hotel.

Good apartment became nightmare and worst due to this incident and no concern and act from apartment and I feel I made mistake&#44; I should have caught that snake and should have thrown on the face of these people. Tomorrow morning if it comes out of carpet&#44; I am gonna do that and then they will feel the fear. Like said&#44; these people run at 20 mph even seeing cockroach and want me to live in apartment with snake roaming around...


I lived at AMLI on Eldridge Parkway for 2 years. I had read the bad reviews AFTER I moved in&#44;and received multiple theft notices on my door courtesy of the office&#44; but had no complaints myself. I made a mistake staying at that place for so long&#44; even more so for not doing my reaearch first. It is a well kept complex&#44; and very quiet... too quiet.My second year with the complex is when all of my troubles started. I made a total of 6 service calls for my AC. I lived on the 3rd floor and this summer was brutal. I would walk in from 100  heat to my small 600 square foot apartment that was 85 degrees. It was awful! Needless to say I had multiple maintenance men in my apartment attempting to fix my AC. It finally got fixed and a week later my apartment was broken into. Now I remind you readers&#44; I was on the 3rd floor. It was a very clean break in&#44; no mess just stolen electronics. I felt unsafe. I moved out&#44; cleaned the apartment&#44; turned in my keys&#44; signed a 30 day vacate notice and they refuse to return my deposit&#44; and tell me I need to pay rent until they find someone to move into it. They do provide a security guard that is on his cell phone at all times. They do have police men that live on the property and upon speaking to them as I was filing my police report&#44; THEY even said they think all of these break ins are inside jobs. STAY AWAY. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE.

very nice place to live. quiet&#44; nice pools&#44; nice gym&#44; nice staff&#44; great  maintenance team with service that is rather quick & done right the first time. If you have trouble with anything&#44; (and your not a total_ rude dousche bag) they will more than happily fix your problem&#44; albeit: Toilet&#44; AC&#44; Appliances&#44; et cetera. 5 stars!

Just did a tour here. And the vacant apartment she showed me the next door neighbor had some hate group evil symbols outside the door hanging. It was a young girl name Hannah I did a tour with and she seemed extremely excited as if she was on drugs. The whole atmosphere of this place was weird.

Hello, we live in Apartment no 818 on Avana Eldridge. Yesterday Afternoon our house was totally flooded water was coming from celling and from ground. After half an hour maintenance guys came take out all my things my furniture and put at one place and start three blowers in my house and told just wait. From yesterday I am out of my house with my two small kids. And today morning we went to management and requested to manager that what is your compensation policy they said no policy. I asked how much time it will take they said one week then I asked where will go now for one week they said we don&apos;t know we requested we have small kids can you fast this process they said no. I said if you will put again that dirty carpet it can get infectious for my kid they said they will not change carpet if something happened to your kid they are responsible. Overall the mistake is management&apos;s then also they are not responsible for anything.

The space is amazing, the layout is fantastic, and with the exception of the occasional rude person who will blare bass out of their car as they drive through or sit in the parking lot, it&apos;s a very quiet community. There are so many great restaurants within easy distance, I have easy access to both I-10 and the Beltway, and there is a MASSIVE Target just down the road. All my dealings with the office staff have been positive and they are extremely responsive to any questions or issues I have had. I should have moved here LONG ago and escaped the horrors of Winrock Boulevard!
