Its been good journey so far

I have been living in AMLI for about an year and my spouse for year and a half. We recently moved to a new apartment within the community (from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom). Of course we did not get any referrals but we did get 1 day period to move all our stuff into the new house. The community is clean with good landscaping. The swimming pool area is also very nice in the summers. The pool is cleaned up in summers every day to make it usable. The gym is also much better than the communities near by. Security is a little iffy. There have been numerous cases of robberies. As they say - it is upto you to make your home secure. But i believe there can be steps that can be taken to reduce it. Have additional lights in non-lit areas, do not keep the back gate open during the weekends. Parking has been adequate. I always found a parking space near my house - If that changes in the future I will deal with it. Maintenance service has been really good. I really like the professionalism of people on the maintenance job. They not only serve in time but quality of service is also good. The office staff has also been very responsive in our queries and requests. Randy helped us move into our new house very smoothly and made sure that we got a good floor plan. The only thing that we were caught unaware was the lease breakage clause. This was a major deciding factor for our choice - but at the time of signing the lease we came to know that it changed and also it is not a part of the lease. And the clause can change at any time. For people who sometimes have no choice but to break the lease - it is an uneasy feeling not knowing what you will be paying when you have to take the decision.
