This is NOT the place!

I don't recommend you move here, unless you enjoy daily exercises in futility. From an office staff which often "forgets" to return phone calls, to a not-so-user-friendly maintenance service request line (not local), to the complete inability or unwillingness of the "manager du jour" to actually enforce the community's rules, this place has become a nightmare. <br><br>We have lived in this community for over 2 years, now, and are more disappointed by the day. With each new manager, comes a new disappointment - and there have been plenty of BOTH. We pay for a reserved parking space every month, just to be told that there is no recourse for us when someone is parked in our space. Management is unwilling to do anything about it. <br><br>There are ocassional warnings about not cleaning up after your pet -- but nothing is ever done about it. All the grassy areas are now sort of mine fields. The same goes for the total lack of control on our leash rules. <br><br>We have had numerous issues with bugs in our apartment. We call the office as soon as we see there's a problem. They may or may not have the exterminator come. Of course, if you actually have ants carrying away your belongings, you will have to take care of it yourself, unless it just happens to be on the day the exterminator is here. <br><br>Should your toilet back up with foul, disgusting refuse, you're on your own. You must call the maintenance service request line - the office WILL NOT HELP YOU (as a matter of fact, they have no interest in talking to you. They just tell you to call the 1-800 number and hang up before you can say anything). Cross your fingers and hope that your request gets logged, and someone is sent out to fix it. At least that's better now...before the request line, if your toilet was at the brink of overflowing on a Friday afternoon (no matter WHAT might be IN it), the office staff simply told you to wait until Monday, so they could send someone out.<br><br>We are adults, and would like to live in a nice, peaceful place. That makes us stand out from a lot of our new neighbors. Many of them are just loud and inconsiderate - and why shouldn't they be? It's not as if our management is planning to do anything about it.<br>
