We moved into this complex about 2 months ago thinking this would be a modest, quiet and cheap place to live for a few years. I have never been more wrong and regretful. My biggest complaint is the amazingly consistent stomping on my ceiling by my up-stairs neighbors. I have never had issues getting a full nights rest until now. As other reviewers have experienced, Management is absolutely useless. They are unresponsive by every means of communication. The extent of their concern for residents end as soon as the lease is signed. I have been complaining about the noise since move-in and still have not received a returned call or email.
Aside from that, this complex has no shortage of trashy people. In my short time here I've witnessed fights, drug usage, and just generally ------ loitering in the parking lot. I've lived in enough apartments to know that if management enforced the rules of the lease contract these things wouldn't be an issue. It's sad that I feel unsafe walking from my car to my apartment on a daily basis.
The physical and aesthetic aspects of the complex is a little dated, but good for the price. I want to talk about the positive aspects but there's nothing worth the compromise of safety, and peace.
Other noteworthy experiences within the first 2 months:
-A/C broke, maintenance had to come out twice
-roaches and flies
-faux wood floor panels are loose and peel up when stepped on, maintenance did not fix the first time
- management called after "auditing" my file and accused me of not providing proof of income or paying a deposit which was completely false.
- waited a month to get a gate remote despite month advance notice of move-in
- charged days worth of rent extra for moving in before the "sticky note" said. (Sticky notes = unwavering date restrictions)
