Decent place. Overall I like the complex now that I've lived here for some time, however that's more from adapting to how things are done and not wanting to move more than anything.
I do have to say the office staff is good for the most part and the residents I've interacted with are great. I've yet to have any issue with my neighbors or anyone around me. I've always felt safe when walking the dog at any time of day.
However, the downsides.
1) Rats. I had something scratching around in the roof above me and reported it right away thinking it was just a squirrel or something. After 2 weeks of nothing done about it 1 thing turned into 2 things in the attic then shortly after that it turned into a family of things. The weeks went into months and it got bad enough in the bedroom I could not sleep, I had to crash on my couch just to get any rest at all. Finally I had to threaten to break lease before I seen real action taken. Since then I've not heard anything in the walls / ceiling of my place but I've seen dead rats around the complex and even spotted one climbing around someones BBQ on the second floor.
2) Be prepared to be price gouged on the lease renew if you want to stay. There was no negotiation or anything, instead they emailed me something where I could choose exactly how bad I wanted to get screwed and it basically priced me out of the complex as I moved in on a good special and then they cranked the market rate way up. Zero attempt at resident retention.
3. The maintenance staff is nice and do good work, but it feels there are not enough of them. When my garbage disposal decided to explode when the dishwasher was running it took several days to get the part and have it fixed. Have heard of other slow repairs from other residents.
Overall it's a nice community but I don't think it's nearly nice enough to justify the price they are putting on the units.
