Run away!!!

Water leaks, water outages, power outages, no maintenance, management doesn’t care to fix anything!!! Just had a baby and they wonâ€™t allow me to break my lease even with my lack of water and power. the people in charge of managing the property unfortunately do not do their job efficiently and effectively I have 2 months calling for them to do the pest control change the microwave light bulb the laundry doors the Air conditioning filter we have renewed the contract several times and no we have changed the carpets in the rooms the maintenance service is terrible

Horrible apartment complex avoid at all costs rats, roaches, bird feces on upper floor terraces and careless ignorant money grubbing management staff. The tenant population is transitioning from working professionals to public assistance individuals ( ---------) due to the overall environment

From the moment I was expecting to move in to dealing with the subpar management, maintenance staff. After signing my lease and expecting to move in on a Friday, I get a call from the leasing office the day before telling me my apartment isn't ready and I need to wait till the following Tuesday, no problem, I waited. Come Tuesday I'm told again no your apartment isn't ready, please wait another day. The Apartment was a joke, see attached photos, not sure who was hired to renovate this apartment, but they're a joke.

This place is the worse apartment I have ever lived in. It is all about how much more money they can get out of you. The manger and staff are a joke. If I wrote all the things wrong here it would be a book. Zero star

The staff has been great at making us feel at home & the location is close to everything which provides a great value in affordability of product with a great location!! Takes no time to reach the Galleria Area! The amenities offered are also a great bonus! Our dog loves the bark park!

Great place to live quiet . I would recommend this complex to my friends and family. The staff is great and very respectful to it's tenants I find that never judge someone else's experience to yours everyone has different opinions on alot things what may be ok for you may not be for the next but overall I'm satisfied with my experience

You say on your website that you have high expectations for your property management team. If that is the case then your "team" at Thornbury is not living up to those expectations. Also, "Unparalleled focus on your residents and a DRIVE FOR MAINTAINING OUR PROPERTIES". Thornbury does not look like you are preserving any "value for your residents." This property was so nice but is getting so run down even with the updates. The mail room/boxes were broken into the weekend of April 14, 2018. Again sometime the week of the 23rd of April, again around the 25th of April. NOW AGAIN May 20th or May 21st . Since then it's been back and forth with the post office and the office regarding how we can get our mail. Post Office says the carrier is not supposed to leave our mail with the office. The Office says they have a deal with the Postal Carrier that they can leave the mail in the office. Since the weekend of the break in I have only received 3 pieces of mail. I like the property because it is nice looking and comfortable apartment. But packages are going missing. The maintenance it is horrible. It took them several requests by calling, emails, in person and their website to after 7 month period to fixed the things that needed repairs on my apartment.

I have been patiently waiting for the Apartment Manger -------- and the Regional Manager --- to get back to me about getting out of my lease after I was robbed TWICE, had MULTIPLE BREAK IN ATTEMPTS, and have been WATCHED BY CRIMINALS AROUND THE COMPLEX!!! What did the apartment do? They sent someone to "fix" my broken door which is now WORSE THAN BEFORE. I sent TWO emails giving them the information they asked, called multiple times, have been extremely NICE and understanding, and STILL have not heard back from ANYONE!!!!!!!! EVIL APARTMENT MANAGEMENT!! Was told to "pay rent anyway" while they get back to me and I just found out theyre charging me a month to month fee of $500+ more than my regular rent when Im trying to LEAVE AFTER BEING ROBBED!!!! Oh, and my LEASE IS UP, ANYWAY BUT THEY WILL STILL NOT LET ME LEAVE. They don't care about their tenants, there is no courtesy officer or cameras on the complex, so if you get robbed or broken into you're out of luck. I love my apartment. Lots of storage, modern, & good neighbors. A little trouble at first with garage & gate remotes and some maintenance issues but since Britaney has been back everything has been great. Quiet area as I am in the back away from the parking lot.

Worst apt I ever lived. I regret signing a year lease. Ill break the ------- lease anyway. Very old kitchen appliances, no parking space available any time from 7pm except you are lucky. your lease does not guarantee a parking space for a vehicle unless you pay for ,one. I've had too many things t,o complain about within 2 months of my residency here.

I can not wait till my lease is up!!!!!!! If your looking for a place to be robbed at gun point and have your car stolen this is a place for you. Seriously this has happen in the past several months. The "Gated Community " the management portrayed is a joke with both main gate and side gate broken at least three times a week anyone can stroll right in.The onsite fitness facility has had a majority of its weights stolen and not replaced and that's if you can even access it as this past year the pool was closed down for weeks at a time with no warning or explanation from management. The only way to access the "gym" and laundry room is through the pool area but when it's shut down the management chain locks the gates. This apartment community is far from the sprawling sparkling photos you see on there main page everyday there is garbage blowing through the parking lot from residents who could care less about the property. A resident was recently robbed at gunpoint and her car was stolen from her while leaving her apartment home. Since the new change of management the grounds are consistenly dirty, trash and huge spiderwebs located in between the buildings, falling sheetrock from the ceilings beside the stairwells. Noisy neighbors and thin walls equal constant loud noise at all times of night in your apartment and management does nothing about it. Management is a joke and the office staff acts generally annoyed when asking for any type of assistance. Tow trucks circle the parking lot routinely. The gates are always broken. They no longer have on site security patrol at night. Rent increases every year but the lack of service, security, and feeling of a good home decreases. The resident community morale is diminishing.

I have lived at Thornbury for a little over 5 months now, and after my initial disappointment over the flooring, I am starting to really like it here. The reason I was disappointed with my flooring is because, on my 1st visit to the complex, I was told that ALL 1st floor apartments have faux wood flooring, with carpet in the bedroom only. I came back 2 weeks later and rented a 1st floor apartment. I spoke with a different staff member, but since the 1st one had told me that just 2 weeks prior, I didn't ask about the flooring. I wasn't able to actually see the apartment until the day I picked up my keys. The apartment I got had old carpeting (no wood flooring at all), I could still see the indentions in the carpet where the previous tenants furniture had been, as if they had just moved out the day before. On top of that, the tile in the kitchen and bathroom had dirty gaps in between the tiles (maintenance did come over and fill in the bigger gaps with caulking though). I love this apartments, they have great amminities, two pools, and maintenance is always good, the office people is very nice the only thing is that they are very busy all the time, i love it staying here, i recomend it to everyone that wants a nice apartment.

I have had only wonderful experiences with the services I have received while living in Thornbury! "a great place to call "home". The entire staff always greets you with a smile and they are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. Especial thank you to Pedro! The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are open 24//7 are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. The maintenance workers are always so helpful and can fix anything and everything! Thank you.

I've been in Thornbury Apartments for two years now. I must say this is one of the best apartments on Hollister . Yes there are some issues but their minor nothing that would deter you from living in this apartment complex. The staff is always nice and pleasant. My Leasing advisor was Pedro. He made sure all my consensus were met and made sure I felt like I was "HOME". The maintenance is always there to fix the minor issues I rarely have. I have referred multiple to this apt complex. Never seen any abandoned cars or flat tires. Regardless of what time of night, It's peaceful. The manager is awesome she makes it all the better... I FEEL SAFE AND AT EASE HERE AT "HOME"
