Avoid Brompton Court
I'm finally leaving, and I couldn't be happier. This apartment is awful. As I sit writing this, two days after the last power outage, I currently have no running water. I'd love to say it's an isolated incident, but it's not. The power has gone out no fewer than four times this year, with each outage lasting longer than 8 hours. I had been told that this would have been fixed by now, but it's not. The management have offered absolutely nothing in the way of paying back residents for their continued patience and for their loss of food due to these outages. Usually, they simply won't apologize either. Not only this, but they're also insisting on rent increases in the ballpark of 20%, and apparently, Marion (The management company) has said that the office staff are not allowed to negotiate with residents. When they took over the accounts here, they fired the good property managers, Eric and Kitt, and replaced them with fast-talking, uncaring salespeople who have no true interest in their residents. I was told six months ago that they knew what the problem was with the power, and they were going to put in a bid on a transformer to fix the power problems. That was 5 power outages ago. I'm happy to say goodbye. You should rent here if: 1. You are looking for a good location on the cheap. 2. You don't mind having 16 hour power outages every couple of months. 3. Running water is a luxury, and not a necessity for you. 4. You're not in it for the management. 5. You're only planning on staying there for a year. Other than that, I'd strongly recommend you avoid this apartment. Thanks for reading.Share This Review
