I worked here a while ago with Merion, not Rockewell. As I understand it, the tenants loved Rockwell because they treated the tenants like people, not money. Merion Realty only cares about money. The reviews are absolutely correct. Brompton Court Apartments are terrible and it is because the managers are terrible. April hates people and treats her staff like dirt. We had been told that if we didn't want to work there then to walk out because she could find others to replace us. If we went home for lunch or ate at all then we were pu$$13$ and wouldn't be promoted. We worked easily a 50-60 hour work week each week if we ever even got days off. If we didn't, we would be fired.
The mistreatment unfortunately falls on the people on the front end dealing with tenants and perspectives. We always feared for our jobs and hated them all at the same time. I'm sorry for the staff treating you the way they did. We are taught to be horrible managers, that is why I left. I didn't believe in the way they "trained" their staff. The people working here are miserable because of their boss and being screamed at by tenants. There is no training. If we needed help they said to figure it out and if we did something wrong we were shunned or written up. This is why there are mistakes or nothing gets done. Also because they are so understaffed thinking everyone should work 6 days a week and work overtime for no pay.
I have numerous horror stories about working here but I won't share them. However I do recall my boss not giving someone a job based on their race.
Do not live or work here. it was the worst working experience of my life.
