I totally agree that Merion Management is terrible
I have lived here for ~ 2.5 years. The previous management company (Rockwell Management) was amazing. I had absolutely no complaints. Ever since ~ October 2010, Merion managment company took over, and there goal is to take advantage of everyone who lives here and bleed them dry. I have never written an apartment review before, but a recent change has incited me to do so. First, let me say that I promise, that you will get a ~$80 rent increase every year. Second, they try to make changes to "improve" the quality of the place. However, the changes are things that no one cares about. For instance, now they are starting up a valet trash service, but now, you will have to pay an extra $25 per month (Mandatory). Third, they allow you to park in unreserved parking spots, but if someone decides to reserve the parking spot that your car happens to be in, and let's say you haven't driven your car in 3 days. Well guess what? Your car will have been towed, and you will have to pay every day that the car is in the towed lot, as well as for the tow itself. Fourth, we have had people start to deliver packages inside our apartment (legally they aren't allowed to open our place to deliver packages by the way). I happen to be showering at the time, and when I heard someone trying to come into my place, I was able to get to the door (naked by the way) to shut the lock in time. Lastly, they have been caught throwing away people's documents (with their Social Security numbers on it) in the communal trash WITHOUT SHREDDING IT! ILLEGAL!!!Share This Review
